I've been hoping for this for a while. Alot of other MMO's already offer this about time Jagex caught up. Just another step in WoWscape.

Would be pretty cool, it could be used for clans as a backup in case their Ts/Vent gets ddosed.

Why as backup? Just use it if its available. It's free and won't be as big a pain in the ass to set up. Probably be based off of the already existing clan chats.
