Anyone can do Havoc's banner, that's the difference. It's a runescape picture with a bird and some font, I could do that. Outer glow of blue and a screen or something on the bird itself, and the font is basic. The smoke is most likely a render

It's not as simple as you make it sound, but yes, it's much easier and less complex than the pixel.

Havoc's looks nice, but it would have taken no where near as much time and effort as the tlp one.
