Hi I have a question.

I will go into full detail if you PM me on IRC.

Video Programs:

  1. Camtasia Studio
  2. Sony Vegas Series (Movie, Pro)
  3. Adobe After Effects
  4. Windows Movie Maker
  5. CyberLink PowerDirect

I can give activation keys to Camtasia, but the rest you'll have to find yourself. Camtasia is the best to start out, learn about how videos need looping. Move to Vegas when your ready to do advanced rendering and effects. I wouldn't move to Adobe until you know about rendering types and features, along with plugins.

Video Recorders:

  1. Camtasia Recorder
  2. Hypercam 2

Personally, I use Camtasia.

The quality of screen recording is good and the tools you use to edit are clearly displayed but there are few of them and the final product tends to look pretty basic.

If you've got the time and patients, I'd go to sony vegas.

Record with Camtasia, edit with Sony Vegas is what I've always done.

Very easy to use, produce good quality stuff, but if you're looking to do more high end editing should probably use after effects etc ;)

Pm me if you need any of dem keys for free.

Start out with camtasia just learning the standard basics of speeding up etc and then move onto Sony Vegas and then eventually onto adobe if you really want to make a good go at editing.
