A lot of people love FF to death, a lot of people think it's meh. People like the FF series for their plotline, music, and visualizations. They feel like you are playing through a work of art almost. People who enjoy the gameplay and competitive nature of games instead won't find FF as fun.

Was a minor Fan of the Nint FF's, Giant fan of 7-9 on the ps, and was pretty dissapointed with FF10 on the ps2, so i'm not too sure about this one.

 

Visually it looks pretty decent (as always), but nothing takes away from the out-of-proportion characters from ff7/9.

 

we shall see.

I've never been that interested in Final Fantasy. But this game looks so tight. I'm interested in buying it now lol.

Stopped caring about the franchise (along with all other Square Enix games) like 3 games back, 4 if you include X-2 which barely passes as a game. That being said, I love Final Fantasy 1-10 and have them all. 8, 9 and 10 are still my favourites though.

I bought ff XIII today, It's pretty good with the new battle system.

 

Im mad about one thing and that is the main character is a girl.

Cant wait getting this game this week, As some people have said above "cloud strife isnt in it etc" or "never played them" i advise you play some, There my favourite series in gaming console mainly because of the storyline/music, To people who dont like rpg's and games were you need to solve puzzles i cant see you liking ff series other than that CANT WAIT until i get this in a few days.

Heard it was pretty good once you get used to the new battle system and get over the linearity of it.

It's a worthy buy `Pure, it's a different feel to it, alot different from the others. But it's so in depth and worth it.
