It's sort of a stupid question to ask, not because the question itself is irrelevant, but the replies you're going to get won't be sincere. There's no doubt that everyone is bias towards which ever they have 1/20 def. and regard it as the better of the two, but tbh it just comes down to your opinion. I suppose 20 defence is better for clanning for obvious reasons, but there's no real harm in staying with 1 for clanning. On the other hand I think 20 defence is just fine for soloing. A maxed out 20-defence hybrid w/ 60 attack is rather devastating, especially if you are willing to spend the cash from time to time on corrupt armors. Their two rather different styles, my personal opinion being more lenient towards 20 defence at HIGHER levels, just because I enjoy the added complexity, and options at my disposal, but if you aren't near maxed I'd suggest staying with 1 defence, even if you are in a clan.

Solid edits, and good kills, but no real variety got boring after like 2 clips. Watching you rune crossbow people to death isn't exciting (especially with dragon bolts (e)), no complexity or skill, but then again it's just Runescape. all-in-all 6/10

I'm semi-new to staking, did it for like a month or two during the "old staking days" rather successfully, but I'm pretty sure my tactics have since become outdated. Seeing as I've since become in need of cash to properly fund my pure, I'm looking to get back into staking. I've been flipping through my accounts looking for one which might already be somewhat setup for staking. The only one that I thought might be somewhat adequate (1 Prayer) was one with these stats... 57 Combat 40 Attack 43 Strength 40 Defence 67 Range 1 Prayer 50 Magic 58 Hitpoints Obviously there's work to be done, but I thought it just might be a solid basis to work up from for a staker. For lower level staking is 40 Defence viable? Or is there no one accepting stakes with armor. Basically just looking for any and all suggestions on what stats you may recommend, and where to go from this building block of a staker, or should I just start from scratch? Also what item(s) and rules do you guys find have been working well for you on your staking endeavors. Thanks a ton.

Idk why anyone thinks honour will affect PJing, that's in the past, the ability to PJ really needs to be removed. It's in absurd excess, and happens even if the kids don't know each other simply to stop someone from getting a KO. It's insanely annoying, and is only harming the game, why not remove it? I also have no clue as to why you all think PJing is something that can't be removed? Just use the same system they used for BH Worlds/PvP Worlds, and it's fine.

I also said I like the loot being better, but idk I just feel like somethings missing? I guess the no consequences for teleporting is something you just have to get used to and bring along a teleport block. Welfaring is rather abundant now since there is nothing stopping people from risking 10-20K and still making a profit, this is probably why there are less people bridding. It just seems like the style of PKing is different or something idk. Thanks for bringing up high risk worlds as well, that's probably where I'll just end-up spending most of my time. Also I never said I'm not enjoying free trade/staking, actually I've re-established that point a few times over the topic, only thing I've been sort of disappointed about is the difference in PK styles apparent in Wilderness opposed to PvP World/BH. I'm enjoying everything else, but this is just my one (sort of minor) criticism of the update, and that's what forums are all about aren't they? This is mostly due to the fact that everyone is welfaring, no one is bridding, this somehow new semi-system of PJing, and everyone is teleporting and there's nothing that's giving them a reason not to. Thank you for a constructive post. I for one hate PJing since it really hurts quality bridding, been attempting to do it for the past two days and I continue to run into kids who just tag-team every time things aren't going their way. But your right, probably just give it some time let things set-in and stabilize.
