Hope you like MM because I'm very well acquainted with them. Hunt me and see how quickly your 100+ pull peak hits the 40~ valley. :) i think clans like EOP love ALL other clans ;)... And although it would be quite impressive to see a 100-40 drop in opts on average trips from somebody as big as EOP, you have to realize that this isnt 2008 when they only pulled 13 members out of a 14 memberlist... And idk if a clan can survive 3 forum hacks plus clans hunting them i get the impression that it would take more than some green-caped mains, pink pures, and red paytoplay pkers combined to force such a plummet... However your e-speech deserves to be in top 100 of the year so far on PW :):):)

Hmmmmm... If I didn't have a choice to quit Scape... Well first off, if I was still in a clan and scaping (no time anymore) I'd never have left EOP... However, here's what would have happened had EOP closed at the time i quit rather than me quit scape 1) Would joined Epidemic 2) After Epidemic woulda closed I'd have gone to DP 3) After DP closed I woulda been like damnit and gone to Zenith 4) The moment CT opened (i like red F2p based clans <33) I woulda joined them 5) If they'd closed at that point I would become a main and join ROT cause they never closing lol! Now if I was in EOP presently and they closed... I'd join either 1) CT first pick or 2) Help build Ambition or a new MPC like that :)

Lol yeah I'm pretty sure this summer is gunna be intense... Freaking epic too if you think about it. EOP/FOE/MM are powerhouses in their own ways, and i am expecting to see some med clan alliances (temporary) that together organize wars vs afore mentioned Powerhouses within the Pure Community... Omg I can only imagine the sheer number of battles and sexy spams that are assuredly going on vids across YouTube ;), otherwise known as ScapeTube.

I'm sure it'll be well recorded within people's memories and they will call on you the next time they want you to inform them (either with pictures or videos) of CURRENT successes and rankings of various clans in the Pure world :). By current i'm referring to the past 3 months or so. Maybe one day you'll reach the point where people take your word for what you say :), and i'm sure eventually it'll come

Love you Prateek even though i loved killing you back in '08-'09 <3 Tbh, this summer is going to be ALOT of fun for pure clanning because of all of these rivalries and sittings and non-multi fights and drama that is going on right now. As people's emotions, patience, and time wears thin towards the end of this school year, you're going to have ALOT of people that are just gunna wanna war for the hell of warring. The winter prior to Epidemic's closure, the big 4 of F2p (FOE, EOP, MM, and E), all of the afore mentioned clans were regularly pulling 90-100+ members every weekend, and the "lilguy clans" were all pulling 50-70+ on their own rights. I think everybody who played at that time remembers the sheer amount of fun it was being able to war your friends and not stir up drama from it. I think the flaming was at an all-time low through that period (save for when E challenged MM as #1 F2p), and prior to that and post-following that, people were so tired of the effort put into propaganda they just quit it temporary. And since it's a known fact that summer time is when RS Warfare skyrockets, i can very reasonably perceuve this summer being a VERY active summer for the Pure-Community as a whole. It is my belief that there will be alot more people joining clans for the friends/community rather than the history and ranks, and because of that i can see a rise in 1v1's, clusters, and possible organized wars where Pures pit themselves against Mains, which i think would be deliciously exciting ;)! However, I could be wrong in this, although I hope I'm not. But Prateek if you can see that sort of summer coming, I'd be curious in hearing your opinions on it, whether you agree with it or not... Btw I typed all of this up on my iPhone :-P

I had a very very great feeling in my stomach while i was reading this topic... All i can say is that as an observer of the pure clanning world for the past 3 years up close, and a Distant observer since 2006, i can honestly say that this summer is going to be one of the most blazing and brightest summers in RS Pure history. I have always been one to have faith in the concept of karma, and as CP, FOE, and EOP have all endured at various points in their history, sometimes when you're riding high, you play your cards wrong and you suddenly are slammed down to the very pits of the pure world. Sadly for MM, they are under this illusion that their "last pure clan" banner will deliver them the loyalists and fanbase that combined will save them from the coming storm that is FOE, EOP, and TLP. As the eldest clans of this game begin to tire of Pure-Warfare's flames that predomitely start from either MM or their members. Nobody can take away the past history that MM boasts, however, as they have stomped on clans in the past by using both their opts advantage and their HF advantage, so are they not going to receive any sympathy when the time comes that their past methods of ownage fail them. @ Scott, you are not entirely correct sir, about the average ages within the communities of FOE and EOP, and as a graduate-turn(ing)-independant-investor, I'm going to be frank when I say that any college student, ESPECIALLY one involved with law at the collegiate level, who has the time to come and be as involved with RuneScape as you seem to be, is either A) extremely slacking in their studies or B) is going to get their clients put in jail from a lack of study of IRL issues that pertain to the case(s)... @Konka, FOE has enjoyed alliance with HF at various intervals in the past, however i don't recall watching videos where one pure clan had to call other clans to anti-crash HF just to get a clean fight. If MM is so ready to bash alliances, maybe they should at least ally with another Pure clan, and not a Tank clan. Suffice to say, in my opinion you're in the category of MM members who need to be banned from these forums by your leader so you don't do as much damage... Not saying no names but a certain pure clan was teaming with 99 def tanks and rune pures before those other 2 pure clans even made there alliance, trust me i guarantee you that if that certain pure clan stop calling 99 def tanks and rune puers the others will stop teaming. I don't know how much of you faced 99 def tanks and rune pures before but it is really annoying and its funny how a clan claims to be #1 pure clan and only pure clan left when the only reason they are #1 is because they hide behind 99 def tanks and rune pures. And plus 2v1 is no excuse to send a open invitation to 99 def tanks and rune pures, Call another pure clan even out the odds, thats the way it always been and the way should be. Not a flame, I just tell it like it is. ^ If you can't make friends with the rest of the pure community, and have no pure allies to call on, then you shouldn't complain when clans have the ability to call their friends to help them out after you've been crashing their battles for years. If you decide to call upon a runepure/tank clan to come to your aid however, there should be NO bit**ing and complaining when they STILL beat you. If it's gunna be a game about who can call the most dates to one gang-bang, and you are out-pulled, then obviously you're not the #1 clan lol. Being #1 includes community, consistency, and overall outlooks. Do I need to link up all of the videos where clans are warring and the "#1" clan is nowhere to be found until its towards the end and time to crash? I think everybody here understands that being hunted and downed every weekend should be classified as a compliment and an insult at the same time. The fact you're worth being hunted = compliment. The fact you're being downed across the servers = insult. Either way, alliances or no alliances, it's all about how big your pants are. Admitting losses takes big ones. Admitting them in your own clan's forums takes even bigger ones. Uploaded with ImageShack.us And tbh, if you've been crashing other clans for years and are going to call in on your ally(ies) to help you everytime you are going to lose in 1v1 straight up against another clan... That's not what alliances are for, because all that does is stir up crap like it did in WW1. Like someone posted a lil before me, alliances are great until you abuse them. May they never die.

Pures will change, the definition will develop and evolve. But pures will always remain. The outcasts of today will probably be viewed as pioneers in the future for establishing precedent and utilizing the grey areas and abusing them for theirselves and their clan(s). Anybody who laughs at progress is a fool and needs to grow up and learn to be human. In P2p, Turmoil and Handcannon are VERY effective in their power on the battlefield, and tbh, if you are a HPC and refuse Turmoil, it's either because you either A) Only care to cater to the undeveloping/returning pures or B) Are so afraid of developing and failing in it where others have succeeded, which either way leaves me to wonder whether or not you're capable of developing, of accepting change and abusing it to best suit you. That can be applied to RL or RS. In my belief, a pure clan is a group of fellows who form a community and Pking force where they sacrifice SOMETHING defence-related so as to better remain in a combat range alike with their mates.... Best case scenario is you have 50+ members, all within a 5-10 combat level range of each other (i.e. lowest cb level 76 and highest cb 81-88). So saying, Pures and the warring of Pures will last as long as RS is around. And perhaps after, because god only knows how many priv-servers will rise up should RS close LOL.

The truth is, Omni understands that for the silent majority that for the most part just read the topics and LOL, we make our own decisions as to which clans are legit and which ones aren't. I am biased, because I believe in change. And purewarfare hasn't changed yet but it needs to. HOWEVER, the warring that pures go through has changed ;)... and it's not about your wins, its about your *cough* CONSISTENCY. I like watching vids that aren't edited because of the recorder dying ingame ^_^, those one-shot clips where the recorder clearly shows win from beginning to end = happiness.
