  1. Same. THIS. Probably best statement in this thread. lol'ed. Yes, the lower leveled clans all fought, and just like any other rivalry, Epidemic came out on top. Of course they'd remove the wild right after we broke into the top 10(we were 9) which was really hard for new clans those days. Even then we were known for our organization, and breaking the top 10 with a bunch of level 45s. Requirements were; be level 42-50(55?) and 10- defence lmao, and yes we had a combat cap so you couldn't join if you were higher. Was amazing. Probably not, but some can hope. I've met so many people who said they'd train up an account for Epidemic if we opened.. You'd be all set as a skiller lol. This, second best statement in this thread. quite obv ur very new to the clan scene even tho epidemic arent that old Calm down Turmoil, he's been around for quite a while. I don't know where I know that name though lol. All of Epidemic's leaders quit as well, however, you said officials... There are a lot of us still connected with the community. I doubt a rise of Epidemic to dominance will happen if we cannot get a legitimate "go for it!" from our old leaders, unless they remake it themselves. You are correct. All in all, most of those clans listed will not make a comeback. Some might try, but will fail. The only chance any of them has is Epidemic. If Jib/Bob/Ivp/Plode say so, Epidemic V3 will rise again at an alarming rate. I myself doubt any of them will do it, they've moved on. So have many staff members, like me.
  2. Not well played enough. FOE [ 77 ] [50.00%] MM [ 77 ] [50.00%]
  3. Even the community is divided on who'll win... FOE [ 76 ] [50.00%] MM [ 76 ] [50.00%] Lmao. Good luck, hopefully both of you can hype this up as far as you can. Breath even more life into the Pure Community. Make this spill over into the main world, onto RSC. I see rejuvenation in the pure world at the moment, keep it going.
  4. Pretty good, got a little behind in real life, but I'm catching up fast. I'll consider your advice, as I've often gave this advice many times. I'll probably end up not coming back to Runescape anyways, but I've been given several options because of this topic. For Narb. Anyways, yeah, Zenith is apparently one of my best choices. Good luck old friend. Now those are some more of the old names I want to hear, I think it settled. A moderator may close this now, I am strongly considering Zenith, Corrupt Pures, and Intense Redemption. Thank you all for your suggestions. ;d ... Maybe not close it.
  5. gee we sure had an optimist here! Looks pretty opposite from that lmao. Great job guys, the Pure World remains unpredictable. For now.
  6. [CONTINUED] Only Badger... Sup EAB :P yeah Cp is definitely something I'll look into. I do remember you obviously, I was on your account a couple of times, was pretty cool lol. I am still considering coming back to Runescape so yeah lol. Oh my, hello again lol. Not clanning yet, just tempted :P Also another unforgettable ex E lol. Thanks lol. Sorry... You're just jealous tbh. Oh Prat, where have you been. Ello, good guy right here ;d I've long considered Ir as I don't have p2p and I have a load of 26 capes lmao. Ir is near the top in my eyes, I admire it's long-standing and refusal to be crushed by so many clans that had hated you, including the clan I was a part of. So erm... I guess I log into IRC lol.
  7. Whoa didn't expect this in less than 24 hours, thanks for all the replies. Yep I remember your name, thanks for the offer. However, presenting myself as said has gained a huge amount of attention, hasn't it? So far most of my topics reach 100+ posts, so I don't doubt myself to gain attention and replies. So unless you are saying I'm not that good at runescape or leadership(which I'm not), prove me wrong. Lol Zack, yeah I looked at your forums and topic and liked what I saw, good luck gaining on the other clans. I could lend a hand if I do successfully come back to runescape! Lol of course I do, how could I forget you. You were pretty... Extravagant in your actions in Epidemic, so yeah. :P Now those are are some of the good old names I want to hear, definitely up there at the top of a long list of clans for me. Sounds like your clan is on a "high" too, could be the perfect time to push it further. Yeah I said some stuff above about Zenith already in response to Lawson. Anyways, I went onto Battlescape(priv server) for the first time in a while, saw your name, and tried to talk to this person with your name. Dunno if it was you, but yeah, thanks. Tempting if I had a main, lol. How have you been Sandra? And thanks :P For some reason it won't let post a load of quotes... Oh well, lmao. [CONTINUED BELOW]
  8. Edit: Lmfao@topic title, went a little overboard there with the paste button. However, it does make my topic more noticeable... I'm Desu in IRC and I am known on most runescape forums as Lucky Hit3r. I live in British Columbia, Canada, so obviously in the Pacific Time zone. I haven't been active with the clan world since Epidemic closed. I am an ex officer of Epidemic, and I did most of their aftermath topics and even made templates for others to use for aftermath topics when I was not around. Trust me, I'm really good at aftermath topics and can make them look good with or without graphics. Anyways, I'm; 70 attack; 71 strength; 87 range; 78 mage; 80 hit points(now constitution I guess); 53 prayer; and 20 defense. The account I'm using is an extremely failed account for PKing. Though I can manage to get a good kill/death ratio going because most F2p PKers suck these days. For clan and group PKing I was extremely good at when I left the clan world(10 months ago lmao), so for now I may be rusty but I'm sure I can do great once I learn the new tricks. I'm looking for a F2p focused clan as my account is in shambles and I cannot attend Sundays for a while. Possibly a smaller clan I can make rise to the bigger stage. I do warn of my inactivity, I am not that active Sunday-Wednesdays and things do turn up. Most Saturdays I can make. I don't think I can guarantee that I'll join any clan, I'm just seeing who's active here and whatnot. I'll probably just jump onto IRC and ask friends about who to join, but I'm open and will consider all. By the way, any ex Epidemic out there?
  9. '06 made first pure, looked around Foe forums because of Evilsexc around then aswell. Went on Pure Community in '07 and joined Epidemic like 3-4 weeks after it opened publicly.
  10. Epidemic - 126, sign ups every week bros. Mm - 118(120 possibly) to one of our fights, no sign ups either... Damn epic. Loved you guys. Foe - 115(Was not there, I don't actually know) .... To p2p. That's an achievement in it self lol. Don't even remember what it was for lol. All three are with every clan at least a full member or future applicant. Close to no recent applications on all three clans, so clans who went from pulling 80 to 110 in a week or two, do not count.
  11. The clans I helped build were Epidemic V1, Absolution, and Epidemic V2. I wasn't there when Bob/Jibs made those magical level 3 accounts to found and lead the clan. However, I was there a month and a half later, and I did add what I could to the community, which in turn was one of the greatest communities ever. Epidemic V1 - Creating competition, and becoming dominant for the lower tier of clans. Absolution - Following the "editing" of the wild, this clan was in place of Epidemic while our original leaders left Runescape for a while. Again, one of the reasons of founding was to create competition and eventually becoming dominant in low PCL. Which we did. Epidemic V2 - Once whispers of wild's return were around, our original leaders came back to Runescape, rusty from playing WoW. A chance of real fun was emerging from the ashes and we started up. 25 members on the first day, all ex Tp/E/As. Mostly level 50s-60s. Six months later we dominated the f2p clan world, on all tiers. Competition every step of the way, till we got to the top where competition fell away and boredom set it. I guess the main thing was competition on all fronts. That was the fun part. Also for the ex-E members saying we didn't care what people thought and ,"we ****** **** up." Please don't overdo something way overdone.
  12. 2006: Foe/Mm/others(don't remember, like eop/fi/tlp obviously, but others for p2p like Dh/dp) some other f2p stuff. - I only read Foe/Mm forums these days, and looted fights, joined massers lol. 2007: Cp/Th, Fi/Eop, E/Td - Last best year for pure clans. 2008: Dy/M, Cp/Th, As/S/Tp/M/Dy - People got defence because it was no use to keep 1 lol. Age of 20 defence. 2009: Fi/Foe/Mm, Foe/Mm, E vs Mm at the end. - People used that 20 defence, though it didn't help much after you returned once lol. 2010: Foe/Mm - Looks kinda boring lol.
  13. Sup Narb, and great video. Also, hey Kyle.
  14. Because of the place we made it to I imagine. I mean, every clan on the list has reached #1 in some form or another, why not Epidemic? Because of our short reign? The propaganda that is directed at us is terrible. Epidemic was an amazing clan with organization that made level 3s go from the bottom to the top in a very short period of time. We made level 60s match and exceed the strongest most solid pure clans ever to exist, as proven by your own list. 1. Foe/Mm 2. Mm/Foe 3. Fi 4. Eop 5. E/Cp/Tlp 6. ^ 7. ^^ Few notable ones... Dh, The Pures, Fl, Mpk, Th, and many others I've forgotten that made quite a splash in their time, though couldn't match the ones I've numbered.
  15. Epidemic - Nothing can ever match this, specially Vs. The Dreaded and kicken' their ass! Then the E vs Dv/Ir/Eop/r4in f4llsClanIDon'tRememberTheNameOF was probably the best fights ever, along with our most organized. The Dreaded - Didn't win as much as Epidemic when we fought in the Wild era. Malice - Was pretty awesome, though we didn't have as many epic fights as the leaders had The Dreaded, so just ranked one lower. And this wasn't in the old wild ;( Intense Redemption - ... I don't even know why. They're just cool kids. Mayhem Makers - Because of our fights and rivalry for a short time. It was intense and I'm glad you guys are still goin'.
  16. So a few of Mm's returners were hit by welfarers. Then Foe was hit by welfarers and Hf, in both fights. True statement.
  17. Good job TLP, just need your second wind and rise again so we can all see the exciting fights between you and Foe/Mm, all they're doing is teaming vs eachother. Glad you didn't join into that. Good luck!
  18. Epidemic if I had to choose one. I'd rather not come back to Runescape, but I miss the excitement that built every weekend, the pressure and the sense of accomplishment after every trip. If Epidemic were to open again, and have the same leaders of course, I would join and put 100% commitment into the clan. Not because I wanted to join, but to make sure our name is not tarnished like many other clans who attempted to reopen and lost the respect of the community. I really doubt that with so many old members yearning for that sense of accomplishment that it would fail though. It would be instant 40 members in the first week and near 100% pull and any old members that hear about this that are in main clans would be training up pures just for this. Plus 10~ every week after that until whoever is at #1 at the time strikes us back down, and the cycle continues of slump/rise. Otherwise, all the current closed clans closed for a reason.
  19. Lol same Ashley. Anyways, good job Eop, and get those opts up in P2p to really take #2 overall. Who knows what else you could do once your there.
  20. Oh Andrew did that, lmao, I see where it comes from then. He's kewl, and I actually got a mature response rather than Dp's "FREE SPEECH" "WHERE'S YOUR TRADEMARK" "umadbro" response when they used basically my total setup. Just try and make something original for Corrupt Pures and I'll be happy, don't need to change this one lol. More originality is better for the look of the topic, rather than something I've shown for more than 40 topics, some E have recognized it. OT: Good job on the trip, read it all. Thank you for actually considering my statement.
  21. Lol people still use my; and my; the texts positions I used to make Epidemic topics. I've seen over 15 topics with references to my way of making the topic lol(like the example here), from many different clans that had ex Epidemic go to them lol. Bad bad bad, make you're own inventions to make your topic look nice. I do get sort of annoyed at people who take it like they had it all along. Didn't read the topic, just looked to see if you had my stuff like the rest of Cp's recent topics... OT: Good job playing runescape. Dunno what else you did. :D
  22. Disciples of Elvemage. I can see it now... Anyways. 1. Final Ownage Elite/Mayhem Makers - always and forever. Possibilities of Eop in F2p and TLP in P2p to appear for short periods of time. 2. Usually one of the above, rarely do both of them fall out of the top two(if ever). [ Foe/Mm ] 3. An older clan that became dominant. [Eop/Tlp/Fi/Cp] 4. Most likely one of the older clans, but there is a possibility that a "new power",as pierz put it, could emerge as a dominant medium clan. This new power could also take 3rd for a week or two. [Eop/Tlp/Fi/Cp] & (new power) 5. Older clans that are in a slump, or cannot reach #3/4. [Eop/Tlp/Fi/Cp] 6. Older clans. [Eop/Tlp/Fi/Cp] 7. Lower-Med clans that gain hype will eventually reach here, but never cement themselves over the older clans, unless this clan is at the stage where they become the new power as mentioned above. Intense Redemption is most likely the most stable clan for this position, they're always around #4-8 in both servers while other clans rise, fall, and die. 8 and below. New clans (Ch/Fs/Cpr/C/Il/rest/new arrivals) Note: I will count old clans reopening as a new clan, unless they can gain their old spot in the shortest amount of time, as shown by IR. So Fs/C/Il are new clans as they do not have the same feel as they did before. Pure world in a nutshell.
  23. Was just about to say that one lol, but got caught up doing something else. Oh well, there's one with the same initials in todays era, Iron Legion.
  24. Ever realized that many of the ranks on PW aren't in clans? I think it's a good thing. Anyways I don't see much difference from the last couple of years, old clans stay on top, newer ones open, gain hype, slump, close. Also I quit 'Scape too so I don't really care much lol.
