Malice pull 66 members.
During our massing several members were saying that CY had closed and joined DP which we found interesting yet not surprising. P0ke apparently wants his clan to remain a weekday PK clan only and told his members to join DP for weekend events. For this reason alone we knew we were rellying on a good pull to be able to compete with not on DP but other clans; CP, FI and TLP to name a few. Unfortunately our trip was very much flooded by the presence of DP and CP.
crashed v1.0
Our night kicked off with us hearing that DP were in our world and getting dangerously close to our main pile of 66 members. We backed ourselves and engaged DP taking the early advantage. As a One vs. One the fight lasted for about 3 minutes throughout which it was clear Malice had the upper hand, DP's options were wavering and victory was at hand, until CP crashed. We weren't sure what kind of numbers CP had so we definitely weren't going to back down, so we took the focus off our depleted opponents (DP) and turned to fight CP. CP took control and used their numbers well to maintain it, though we refused to give up. At the back end of the fight IR rushed in and hit CP while the few remaining Malice members met and left.
Malice Starting: 66 Members
Destructive Pures Starting: 55-60 Members
>>> Corrupt Pures: 60-70(?)
Malice Ending: 20 alive
Destructive Pures Ending: 0 (Left the world)
>>> Corrupt Pures: 50-60(?)
malice vs. destructive pures
After our first interesting encounter it seemed staff from both clans (Malice and DP) were keen to organise a Run In and although Malice was still regrouping from being hit by CP we were confident in our ability to get our options back to what they were at the end of massing. After 5-10 minutes of massing we walked to Chaos Dwarves and hopped to World 21. Upon log in we fell in quickly and heard CP was at BH, luckily DP charged us quickly and the fight began.
DP's rush was excellent, they completely caught us off guard and were able to get the fight's first 5 kills, although we were on the back foot we quickly held our area and destroyed any DP member that got close enough. It seemed that several DP members tried initiating their own pushes, each failed and as they pushed through us we were easily able to pick them off. After a solid 5 minutes of fighting we felt DP were slacking off which motivated us to setup a perfect push, killing off the majority of DP and pushing the rest into single at Moss Giants. There may have been ~10 DP members sitting in single trying to snipe us, we e-laughed took our ending options and basked in our victorious glory.
Malice Starting: 59 Members
Destructive Pures Starting: 55-60 Members
Malice Ending: 31 Members
Destructive Pures Ending: ~15 in single
This was our only clean one vs. one from start to finish, thanks for that.
intercepted
Excited but not content with what we had accomplished we remassed in our homeworld and decided to get our track on. We knew FI and TLP were out and we were interested to find where they were but were unable to do so. We were however able to get a quick track on Veneratio and Ascendency who were teaming for the weekend. We quickly hopped to their world and met a few Fatality stragglers south of Iwis' house. Quickly clearing them we were sure another clan had gotten to Ascendenratio before us so we held our ground and let our scouters do their thing, before we got any word back from the current situation around us, we were being rushed by CP - again. The fight began with Malice on the defensive (as usual) only this time we were extremely scattered which was fatal for us. Our audio quickly picked up on this and were able to scream at those of us who were running off in different directions, we quickly clumped up and held a small area allowing us to compensate for CP's number advantage. Unfortunately mid-fight DP decided to repay CP for their crash earlier and blatantly ruined our fight - so we had been ripped twice which annoyed us to say the least.
Malice Starting: 55 Members
Corrupt Pures Starting: 60 Members(?)
DP INTERVENE: 55 Members
Malice Ending: 25 Members (Got away safely)
The most positive thing about Malice is our enthusiasm and despite being penetrated by two clans on more than one occasion in just the first hour of our event we persevered to remass 50 members and find another avenue of combat. It was as we were remassing that we heard Epidemic were fighting Fatality + TLP + Anxiety. Malice jumps at any chance to kill two birds with one stone and we were keen to get into a fight and help out Epidemic. This didn't work out well though, as MM arrived while we were logging into Clan Wars. We backed off not wanting to waste our options on a fading glimmer, and instead turned our attention to an under-strength EoP who we had a momentary track on. We hopped a few worlds and had some troubles with certain Malice staff members spamming our world in-game, not realising they weren't in CC *COUGH*. EoP got away unscathed, frustrated we backed up with several members having to go; we wanted to get at least one more fight before officially ending our trip.
terminated
Not being able to find anyone to unleash on we hopped to DP's world knowing we'd end up fighting them again. They had a 15 man advantage but we still went in with a positive mind-set. We were defeated and as that was going down VO crashed (ROFL).
Malice Starting: 35
Destructive Pures Starting: 50
Malice Ending: 0
Destructive Pures Ending: 45
Ultimately our options were impressive as was our organisation. There were no internal mishaps and the battles lost were battles fought while the odds were piled against us. Its never fun being placed in the middle of other clans fueds but getting crashed is inevitable in the current state of the wilderness and Malice looks forward to pushing itself to a level where we can hold our own against several clans. We showed we're on the way today, being able to survive in the face of being crashed and we intend on further improving our activity and organisation to give ourselves the best chance moving forward, especially now when clans are collapsing into one another and allying to make an impact.
Of course; Tom's Video!
