Get over yourself and the idea of clan rivalries. This is about something that could change the game for pures, not just help one person. And so what if it could only help one person? Is that not enough to make something worth it? Or is the pure community so dead that it's not even worth trying? Because if you think that's the case, then you should probably stop posting here, as you're not helping anything.

We've been over this; it wasn't "you guys" who did it and it certainly wasn't Ughaz laughing about it. Pure hackings have gone on since the dawn of time (so in RuneScape I guess that is to say for many years), so instead of bringing up the past it would be worthwhile to focus on changes for the future. But yea, thanks for the edit- if you feel like it's a legit suggestion, please do post on the rs-forums topic.

This has nothing to do with clan affiliations and everything to do with the chance that Jagex might actually listen and make the game more fun for us. Will they? It's doubtful, but in the mean time bump it like it's a hot grandma and we'll eventually get the attention of a Youtube hero who will in turn help us turn it into an even more massive topic and thereby get the attention of Jagex. Massive high rolling update- got this thing unlocked and rewrote it so the mod would **** off. Included the idea of a level lock + the policy rollback. Lol Runescape Caps Lock Is Fun. And no, there isn't a pure community. MM is the only high level pure clan that doesn't accept 30 defence.

40 defence will never be pure, just like 30 defence isn't now. But that's not going to stop clans from accepting it. You're a fool if you accept 35 defence but draw the line 5 levels before you actually start to get good advantages from defence (compared to other people your combat). You treat the clans that use this site like they represent a "pure community," and they haven't done that for years now.

I appreciate what you're doing, but don't you realize that this is all that's ever kept a pure community site like this alive? It's the blatant truth and it's the fuel behind the greater majority of the posts on this site. Pure clans weren't made to work together in a community- there have been a few rare times when they've worked together to accomplish greater things (yo FOE, pwnin epidemic with us hey hi how u doin), but those times are long gone.

Let's think this through mate. 1. CP goes 40 def 2. CP's spies in other clans stay in other clans 3. CP continues to fight clans with addy in their rune 4. Other clans panic and get 40 defence 5. The "Pure" Community evolves that's how it happened last time with 30 def. and 6. Maybe, just maybe, pure clans will experience a rebirth. And I'm not talking 1-30 def ****, I'm talking 1-20 maybe even 1-10 (sup enemy hey hi how u doin). If not, who gives a ****? At least your clan will be able to have fun pking and on weekends and apart from this site. There you have it- Rang3r Elmo encouraging a clan to train defence. Go for it m8 edit: If you want logic- training 1 more level of defence for a fuckton more bonuses makes a hell of a lot more sense than staying 39 for the sake of being accepted by your internet friends (and since this is pure warfare it's not like they're really your friends anyway, just a bunch of acquaintances that you act like you like during the week so you can try to tear them apart all the more on the weekends when your clan "succeeds" enough that you can post a topic).

We have a lot of fun in the game and our weekend's don't revolve around this community. Sure, we kill a lot of the people who participate in this community but that's aside from the point. I think one of the major problems is that too many people have come to value the opinion's of this site more than their own fun- like you said, creating some invisible "audience" that is PW on which to broadcast their "ownage" that's killed pure clans and pure clanning in general. The mentality of "we'll get them next time, gf but at least we had fun" was replaced by "we can't let them win next time" (aka PCL era, refer to old Omni topic), and booyah- there we have clanning in 2k12. I'm not saying it's wrong, but I am saying it's way less fun.

But yea, you make a lot of good points- though a lot of them can be turned around on CP too- 5 more levels and you're a rune pure which is something that's actually fun to be. So what if you're not "pure" any more? You haven't been pure for quite some time, and never has this site. Not flame, just the way it is. Thanks for the cred though (h)

You guys are all doing a great job of describing what things are like now, but talking about it isn't going to change anything. @ Ultra, there's a reason that honour doesn't exist outside of pure clans. That's what sets clans apart from massers, but most everyone has forgotten that since massers don't exist any more. @ Eruption, not really sure if you're trolling lol, but regardless we don't care whatsoever either way. @ Furious, yea things are changing. But if they're changing for the worse and a point is reached where that change becomes irreversible, I'd say it's fair to classify the situation by saying we're dying. Honor in the game (and out of it) hasn't changed; it's been lost. @ Karl, you used to make me wet too back when this site offered a change from the way things were going at PC. And now look. I'm not saying it's time to jump ship and try to make a new website as personally I think trying to group all pure clans into one community isn't a very smart goal (especially when you consider the ideologies that once united us and now separate us). That being said, there is too much drama in pure clans- so I agree with you on that front. But it's not like this site exists to correct it; it just perpetuates it. @ Pure Warfare, It's flattering that you guys are considering "allowing us back." But to be frank, we left on our own terms and after all this time we've still no desire to "rejoin" you. There is a lot that separates us, both in ideals (the fact that honor actually holds meaning still in our community) and even our goals (we don't care to unite the pure community because honestly, there is no such thing). It's sad, but it's the way things are. Such is RuneScape 2012, MM 2012, and the "pure" community.
