With summer coming to an end tomorrow for the last nation to start school (Canada), I thought I'd make a summer summary topic.

 

It was an interesting summer clanning this year. PCR gave few but interesting full outs and a lot of rivalries came up. Saw some unexpected rises and falls in the pure community between June and September. New clans rose; IR, Zenith, NME, and many clans fell. We saw the fall of CPR, TR, WAR, Malice and the mighty Bloody VikingZ. (Tell me if I missed any). Overall it was a pretty good summer here at Pure Warfare and it will be interesting to see how what happened will play out during the school year and through to winter 2012.

 

Thought it would be cool to ask you guys what you thought about the summer in a some questions because I'm gay like that. Be completely opinionated and biased I don't care I just want to see what you thought of it.

Best FTP: NME if you're talking about achievements, if not FOE.

 

Best PTP: Havoc, I think matched they can take just about anyone.

 

Best fight of the summer: EOP vs FOE 5 hour return fight

Biggest Upset: When MM beat FOE in f2p, people thought it was FOE's turn to take the glory.

Best Overall clan Summer 2011: NME - Fastest progressing clan, hitting NO bumps along the road, just moving forward.

 

Best FTP: MM - Don't need addy to hold their own.

 

Best PTP: FOE - Dominant

 

Best fight of the summer: EOP vs. FOE 5 hour fight - NME had a 50 minute run-in with Z, and we felt like we couldn't play anymore scape for the rest of the year... how the **** did these guys do it?

 

Best Rivalry: FOEOP vs. MM

 

Biggest Upset: No idea

 

Biggest Summer Clusterfuck: MM+Fi vs. Foe+Eop

 

Best GWAS: No Idea

 

Least expected clan opening: IR - I thought they were done after the first 4(?) tries.

 

Least expected clan closure: M - Still kinda shocked lmao.

 

Most Potential: NME - Self-explainable

 

Is this your last Summer playing Runescape? Probably not, but you never know.

Best fight of the summer: i liked the recent Foe vs Havoc- was extremely close

Best Overall clan Summer 2011: The obvious answear? FOE. Basically the clan that can pull the most with the most power.

 

Best FTP: NME - Very Solid F2P clan from What I see, not afraid.

 

Best PTP: Havoc - Not going to cause I might seem biased and cbf with the kids who hunger to flame kids.

 

Best fight of the summer: I don't really remember fights.

 

Best Rivalry: FOE v MM still. Probably the most respectable. Other then that? IR v Zenith??

 

Biggest Upset: Probably closing of all the clans that did close. (Especially BV)

 

Biggest Summer Clusterfuck: HPCS + HF

 

Best GWAS: Havoc Vs. Zenith 29vs.40 fersure.

 

Least expected clan opening: dF and Chaotic.... Not in the good way ;)

 

Least expected clan closure: Maliceeee.

 

Most Potential: NME - F2P, Havoc P2P.

Best Rivalry: There are none

 

Biggest Upset: Missing a Sunday trip and letting Zack make the topic (IR vs Z full out)

 

Biggest Summer Clusterfuck: Probably in F2P

 

Best GWAS: Any of Havoc's recent GWASes (IR gwas on 'the spot', FI gwas on 'the stairs', MM/FOE gwas at single strip, etc..)

P.S. Anyone who is putting "Havoc 29v40 vs Zenith" for the best gwas, that wasn't a gwas at all. We didn't hit any cluster, we just out tanked them, out piled them, overall outwarred them. If anything, that would be the biggest upset for Zenith. We were in a gwas, not them.
