Forum Revamp

Hello,

 

Apologies for any inconvenience which was caused by the forums being set to "Offline".

 

The Pure Warfare staff have been discussing doing a complete revamp for some time now, you will have noticed that a lot of sub forums have been removed or opened up in to their own categories. This was done simply to increase usability and remove any forums which were disused.

 

Rather than list all of the changes I think it's best if you just have a browse around and find them for yourself.

 

If you do come across any issues or if you have any feedback in relation to the changes I've created a new topic for you to reply to.

On another note, there was also an issue with our server causing high loads and spikes. Which randomly caused PW to become inaccessible for a short period of time. I've investigated the issue and I think I've found out what was causing it, hopefully everything should be okay now. If anyone else is still have these problems please let me know via PM.

What sense does it make having Introductions/Goodbyes in News & Announcements? I'd hardly consider a hi/bye topic an announcement nor grant it sufficient substance to warrant the title of news.
