Moderator Categorisation

Pure Warfare is pretty much established and growing every day. Over the last few weeks we've noticed moderation has become harder to keep on top of, so we're having a few changes to the current way we run Pure Warfare.

 

All moderators, except the select few, will be given certain sections. This is down to where the perform well in, or we're they're most needed for their judgement. Other moderators which have proved themselves in all aspects of the forum will be given the Global Moderator rank, this means they will be able to moderate anywhere. This doesn't mean that the other moderators are worse than the Global moderators, not by a long shot. I think we've done well picking them and each moderator has done themselves proud. If they hadn't, they'd have been demoted, afterall it was only a trial period.

 

Here are the current standings for the moderators:

 

Brian - Clan Section

Volt - Clan Section

Kosherkid - Global Moderator

Root - Global Moderator

Retro - RuneScape Section

Ryan - Off Topic Section

Tyler - Global Moderator

Ceejay has done a brilliant job lately, a lot of it behind-the-scenes. So as a result of this, I'm promoting him to Administrator.

Personally, I disagree with dividing moderators into their own seperate areas. I can understand your reasoning for this as people do have individual tastes and interests and therefore may look at one section more - my only issue is if there is an emergency and a global mod / admin is not online (though, this should really never be the case).

I know what you mean, but like you said. More often than not, there's always one of us online. I'm English Ceejay is from NZ, Tyler is American, pretty much got all the timezones covered.

 

This is only really a trial, we'll see how it goes.

Thanks Karl, It's great to see the site finally being established, and growing. I've been here a while, I know others who have been here longer and I've met some really nice people who have come and gone, The current staff are amazing, Im really impressed with you guys and I hope your new positions will sink in and fit.
