  1. Started pure pking in 2004 on Nippon89, made a new account Nippon Mage a few months later. Had my own team that pked mostly in W3 and later W50, doing trips to W20, W25, W10, W29 etc. Joined first pure clan Abyssal Legion in 2005, after that I've been in EO, SO, TP, TLP, EOP, VD and Fatality. I've lost my oldest pics but I'll post some from around 2005-2006: So I had my team, we pked and had fun events all the time. When we had good numbers we'd go **** on VIP in w25 or random w20 pkers, castle lure or go on awesome GDZ trips: I got some nice pics from H3llz Beav3rs' gdz trips... 05 I think? These were a lot of fun too, a shitload of pures: ^ I got more pics from these trips if someone wants, I think pretty much EVERYONE worth mentioning was there  Then there was ofc S0, pure pwnage: ^ Flame about teles if you want, I've always used teles in F2P multi (though sadly I had to stop using them on clan pk trips) As for shoutouts... way too many people to even begin with. If you knew me back in the days... well... I miss you all, and the good times that we had together. I hang out on #fatality with nickname "Nip", /msg me I love to talk with oldfags ^_^
  2. "you've just gotta be wondering what's gotta be going through foe's mind" <- stopped watching sound quality is also pretty terrible, might wanna work on that
  3. Well, hopping around with my team wrecking everything, from EOP to massers. Funzor.
  4. If James or Charles comes back I'll quit uni and apply.
  5. He speaks like any major corporation spokesman :)
  6. I suppose its more of a joke than a real effort at "recruiting" spies. Nevertheless, bringing it more attention than it deserves, either as a bad joke or as an ineffective way of gaining spies, probably only makes the situation worse for anyone who is opposed to spying or filling the forums with bad jokes.
  7.   worst time of my life
  8. This is a matter of grave importance. I think single zones and lower wilderness levels will gain popularity as hiding spots, as I suppose will extensive world hopping. Good topic
  9. W3 giants. All day. Backup plan: W 50 or W 20 giants. BackupBackup plan: W 45 giants BackupBackupBackup plan: Blazin
  10. Gj on your trip. I'm also glad to see you post an aftermath topic with no flame baits and/or flaming whatsoever! Keep it up
  11. Nice, looks almost like the trip topics from 5 years back when pure clan PKing still involved fun ^_^
  12. Impressive HF, gj on your trip. I don't see why idiots are flaming RSC clans that like to post their topics here, especially when pure clans are involved in the fights. I sense a new generation of bushvoters coming up, WW3 here we ***@
  13. I suppose I'm politically left, though certainly not liberal in todays political sense. I'd describe myself best as an advocate for classical liberalist socialist democracy and an anarchist. I'm all for public healthcare and education, and on top of that every country should provide its citizens with enough water, food, clothes and shelter. So a socialist. I also believe in classical liberal views of freedom of expression and religion, individuality, tolerance and equality before law. Furthermore, I like to think that the ultimate path for human kind as a society is democracy through anarchy and individualism. Though it seems we're not ready for that for another few centuries, judging by the popularity of Hillary Clinton and Justin Bieber.
  14. Ummna. I don't think clans are willing to hold 1v1 tournaments all year in a controlled environment (PCL), especially if wildy comes back and theres a much wider range of pvp to use. Moreover, pure clan rankings change on a weekly basis due to variation in pulls and clan relations so a static ladder would be inaccurate on any extended period of time.
  15. seriously just stop talking, you've already seen what tlp can do, if you complain about crashing fight us 1v1? He's a retired clanless person whose tryin to keep up with the pure community. Don't pay him any attention, it only feeds his appetite. Damn right it does I wasn't criticizing the crashing I was ironically pointing out how lame and stupid the excuse "Talk **** get hit" is and perhaps hinted towards asking what it tells of the person who used it. Nevertheless, the reactions themselves are a piece of live comedy.
  16. Gj on your full out and on making excuses for crashing.
  17. Sad to see so many retards flaming, even people who should know better. Anyway, gj and GL NEXT WEEKEND ROFLMAO

    Democracy

That's a very cynical view, I don't believe it to be that simple. If it was, would we ever have come this "far" as a society? I believe human beings in any society have a set of moral values that respect the people around them. We can argue humans are actually selfish by nature or not, but whether our moral values are only a result of our growing environment or a part of our nature, the fact remains that they are very real and guide our daily actions. Most people in "civilized" society share some moral values that are a direct consequence and reflection of our environment. We criminalize killing, stealing, hurting other people, and tons of other things that majority of us deems morally wrong. Similarly, we think of caring and helping other people, generally all empathy, as the morally right thing to do. These values seem to be somewhat universal and dominant in all human societies, though they are subject to change as is the society that (arguably) determines them. Wouldn't it then be inevitable that a democratic society would, in good and bad, be the reflection of these moral values that we generally share. Are we really selfish like you say? All polls conducted anywhere in the world(if this isn't obvious to someone I suppose I can provide some sources) seem to indicate that people oppose wars, famine, environmental destruction, violence and many other challenges that human society faces today, and are willing to share much of what they have to rid of these problems. I can't help but think what the direct result of this incredible empathy in a democratic society and world would be. tl;dr I don't believe the lack of moral values is something that stops the human kind from forming a democratic society, on the contrary, I believe human beings in a society have a similar set of moral values that serves as a good base for a democratic society.

    Democracy

Why would each person have to exist without flaws in character? I'm not talking about a utopia where every human being is "flawless" (= has a similar set of values) and everything works in perfect harmony, I'm talking about democracy. A governmental system that reflects and represents(and respects!) the opinions and moral values of its people and acts according to the majority. On a side note, what is a "flaw" in character? A deviation from some stereotypical picture of an ideal human being? I would like to think that "flaws" from the mainstream of thought or behavior are what makes the evolution of human society possible and inevitable. I say inevitable, because so far in the history of mankind these flaws have always managed to guide us towards certain ideas, that seem to be comparable to the moral values we have as human beings (for example: human rights, freedom of speech, equality before the law). I'd perhaps go too far to suggest that such "flaws" would be essential for the survival of a democratic society, but they would certainly be critical for the progression of that society.

    Democracy

Thought I'd make a topic since I haven't used this section since pure community. Simply put, do you believe in the possibility of nationwide or worldwide democracy anywhere in the world anytime in the future? Wikipedia: In this sense it is pretty clear(though go ahead and argue otherwise) that there has never been a true democratic nation in the world, as the power of majority to decide and hold absolute power has always been restrained by force (-> totalitarism) or propaganda (->western "democracy") or more likely a combination of both. Of course it seems impossible that there could ever be a society of people where every person is able to think independently, which can be seen as the requisite for true democracy. But if even a majority of people could understand the basic principles and mechanisms of a working human society(a society that respects and abides by the moral values of its inhabitants?) and form their own opinions through absolute transparency of information and in respect to their own moral values, it could be acceptable to call such a society democratic. Idk if this serves as a base for discussion... what are your thoughts on the future of democracy? Do you believe that democracy can ever function in a human society?
