  1. mate used to give me rot locs so i could loot at eoh and gdz wars allll the time with my telegrabs lol. smiting whips if protction prayer gets re-introduced will be good. best time on runescape for me was hills luring people from single or running into other lure teams and battling it out
  2. if they bring back protect item, i can't wait to smite and get a whip gallery going ;d;D hopefully you can run back for fire cape aswell
  3. i hardly play anyway, as long as you prioritise the important stuff in your life over scape you don't really need to quit. it's just like going on your xbox in your free time lol
  4. in p2p, once another clan starts returning in rag they admit defeat pretty much. especially with games neck/gdz tele/duel ring etc. where you can return so fast wherever the fight is and do damage in a water staff and ghostly robes which takes 10 seconds to gear up in. it's unfair and against clan rules in f2p it's a different story because the cost difference of what is considered rag compared to good gear isn't even 5k lol. someone in monk top n bottom with a coif and teamcape is in good gear, take those off but keep the scim and you're a ragger. don't really care if someone aint wearing a hat or some **** lol
  5. nice work zulu blad, i hear theres some clanless warriors near shilo village that need a tribal leader<3
  6. just set reasonable goals. they go by faster if you focus on other things too like having a break pking, talking to people on vent/ts or watching tv/listening to music. back in the day i'd go for 100 pc points that day i was online then log out or do something else, if i just went for pc points the whole day i'd give up
  7. we wouldn't even have to change the initials for friday pcl.. porn clan league!! but seriously, we're people behind the pixels, i speak to some people on vent/ts that i've known for 4 years+ that i'd be down to chill with in real life. same goes for some of the people in my clan, it's about acting socially as you would in the real world. this is just like playing black ops or halo in your free time, i gurantee most of you would be embarrassed if your mates read some of the **** that gets posted on here lol. what would their reaction be if you told them you took down another guys internet or teamspeak so you could beat them on this game? lol. some people get so emersed into the runescape world they act like social retards, then when confronted so they realise it, they just say "well it's the internet, i don't act like this in real life"... pretty much confirming you're acting stupid. banter and a little **** talk is alright though. respect between ranks from all clans has slipped to the point where nobody cares if someone teles, phishes, crashes etc. the only way it can improve is if all leaders get together and set down some rules and start being strict with them; starting afresh. it aint gunna change otherwise lol
  8. i thought damage inc was good, brutality, reign of terror too. mm and tlp are good because they're not just resuslts from a thesaurus when you search for death or something. fatality was one of the first like that but actualy makes the most sense for a pking clan. flying hippos takes the title tho
  9. weekend trips can be pretty fun depending on how things go about that day. preps, pcl and minis are standard stuff midweek too, enjoy them when i attend. we've done kbd, bandos, fog and 5v5 castle wars. not necessarily the whole clan taking part but even dung is something to do with clan mates.
  10. you can answer all those claims/questions if you sat back and thought from a neutral stance. (y) when 4 clans get involved, there's no point in arguing who won, especially on these forums. the topic just shows our starting and ending and what happened from our pov. if you look at dissy's quote, you can see why preps aren't accepted right now. if ranks from both clans are beefing with each other, getting fights with that clan will obviously have a **** tonne of flaming etc, rather not deal with it in-game and irc alike. john's aparently spoke with people to try improve on that. don't talk about never winning clean fights.. when we got a planned run-in with zenith on saturday it was you that crashed us. any argument anyone has on here contradicts what they say from a trip they had sometime this month. that's why it's useless arguing on these topics, i used to do it too mate haha. it just aint worth the calories used typing with my fingers ;p however "good fights, lookin forward to next weekend" is.
  11. If you only had a clue what I get on my plate from other clan leaders, it's almost rediculous lol. It's full of hatred and full of threaths, there's no respect whatsoever it's just e-thuggin really. Most clans who are full of such actions are lead by 13 year olds and hatred. It's all about the respect, I think people take competition way to serious and when you say this is only a game, lose or win. Don't drag your people into your social retardness, or let hatred lead your actions because that's when it becomes nasty and unenjoyable. you're right, if everyone had respect for each other things could change. i know some of the **** that gets said lol, that's why it would be ideal if ranks from all clans could come to some kind of agreement to stop. easier said than done, i know  there aint any other way to stop it though lol
  12. when i take time out of my weekend to mass up, find a run-in with a similar opts clan to have some fun, only to have it crashed and ruined by another clan can be frustrating. especially when it's a bigger clan doing it to a smaller one. some clusters can be fun, but most crashes are just a back and forth occurances every week to get a one up on this months rivals. don't see the fun in trying to ruin another clans trip.. rather get clean run-ins. there's nothing honourable when an "honour" clan set out to ruin clean fights going on. i don't buy into the whole "honour died in 2006" so anything you do is alright now. if clan leaders came to some agreement across the board to keep crashing to a minimum, then stayed strict with it; any clan that kept up with crashing would be singled out as cunts and have no respect from anyone. when pvp first came out there was hardly any crashing going on for the first month or so if i remember, everyone should just start afresh
  13. chill outttt.. i could put my foot so far up your asses for arguing on every ******* topic
  14. i see what you mean, most people playing the game started around the same age and have moved on or are close to moving on. but at the same time, a lot of clan leaders were only around 14 themselves when they started up their pure clan. there's plenty of younger players with pures that will get into pure clanning, so there will always be enough pures to keep clanning alive, whether they're old or new members. even if every clan leader quit now, it wouldn't mean the end of pure clanning. other members step up and the clan will change, people might leave or join other clans because of it. look at fatality, it's had a complete change of leadership but stayed alive. i don't think there's gunna be a time where 50% of every clan just quits in the same week and that will be the end lol
  15. good job, you deserve to pull higher and compete with foe on sundays. in the first fight we had 39 btw, we knew you where coming but had no idea you had 60+ lol
  16. well done eop ps. don't see the point of pn if all clans are posting back here again
  17. Oh boy... Re-read what you've just said... Accounts with higher def are more effective against accounts without, kinda obvious. Doesn't make them pure either. Your argument would allow accounts with any defence level in pure clans. It's a stupid argument. You shouldn't be pure clanning because you're not a pure. It does not matter how effective you are with 35 def, 45 def or 99def against other pures. None of those accounts fall under the category "pure" so shoudln't be allowed to join a pure clan. It's that ******* simple mate. There's nothing more to say.
  18. Low def used to be one of the most effective types of account to pk with, not so much anymore. You said it yourself, people stick with low defence as tradition, novelty and fun. It's why we compete amongst ourselves rather rune pures/tanks/mains which have an obvious advantage over us. I don't get what you are defending, if you agree you're not a pure or shouldn't be amongst pure clanning what's your point? Making pure clans based around combat level wouldn't be a "pure" clan, because anybody could join. Rune pures/tanks are in the same category because they have similar bonuses. As for prayer; why would prayer level matter (after 43) if a fight where prayer is allowed happens. ie. PCL, hybrid fight etc. People use prayer when hybriding because it takes away the luck factor from the fight. While rune pures/mains can put on tank gear to defend against melee, good mage defence gear for when they mage etc. What can pures put on? Prayer. Don't know what this has to do with the argument of 35 defence in pure clans though. It's just splitting hairs lol.
