I was bored and noticed how many older(like 09+ but whatever I wish this forum was older) clans had recruitment topics on the clan advertisement subforum while hiding recently closed clans for "cronic" because he wants a rank soooo badly. So I decided to put the more memorable ones in an archive subforum for everyone to view, because I know there are people here that would wish to see their past, ect. I realized that some of these clans made multiple "RTs" but I just went with the more originally made one. If you know of some other recruitment topics or clans that I have missed then feel free to ask if I have their topic on the forums as they are hidden from public view. Maybe eventually we'll have inductions to a hall of fame, or other types of "things" that we can do for that section. "Who cares" seems to be the common answer, which really isn't an answer at all. Who cares? Your clans care to have, just don't to explain why they have it, if they're pure clans, then how is it pure? I'm not trying to take sides or any of that, I am curious as to why people think it's okay to have addy berserker shields(as an example) in a pure clan. To the people arguing off-topic: This topic isn't about arguing about turmoil, the topic is about 35 defence+, and why it is considered pure. A quick lesson in simple debating and reasoning. A factual opinion to what pure clanning was and is would be that a "pure" is a pking based account in solo. Now that would mean that "pure" clans are pking based clans in multi and solo. So if you give me the excuse that "I have 30-35 defence unquested for my "pure" clan", aka just warring alone. So if you're looking for defensive advantages just to win your war for your clan, then how does that make your clan any different from a main clan? We can blame clan-wars and the destruction of the wilderness for that type of attitude, but with it back... what's the point of being a "pure" clan if you don't even act like one? Something to think about.

Its just like how some people dont consider 25+def a "pure" but 1-20def is perfectly fine. At a point in time people/clans/the majority(being the community) accepted 5def, 10def, 20def, 25def, 30def, and now 35def(its getting there lol). I think its just a progression destined to happen in this "pure" community. If that made no sense, bite me ima newfag :3 No, no it's fine, I want genuine "factual" opinions, because usually the answer I always see is "it is because it is." I want a real debate, with real opinionated answers.

Why do some clans have people with 35 defence, I'm curious to how that's pure and how you think you're a pure clan if you do. I've been noticing a lot of pictures with addy berserker shields lately. Convince me it's pure and then we'll talk about 30 and go back from there. ^ Feel free to read what I desire out of this discussion.

OH NOOOO THIS TOPIC!@2 What do you feel is harder to work as a clan in? What do you feel is more important out of the two? Can you do without either one as a clan? And why don't some clans P2P on Saturday and F2P on Sunday; why does there have to be a set rule on what server you need to be on for a certain day? Please your answer, I'm curious of the outcome because Sundays are more active on PW than Saturdays.

Jay's post was as clear as this is going to be. What you and this site needs to realize is that there are/is consequences for every action the admins do here. Going off and saying: Is complete ignorance if you think that forcing anymore restrictions on this site will improve anything, most likely it'll kill it. Everyone should know my story here as I say it all the time, but as the one who created the rules and how this place will run, and being the only mod on this site for the first year, I made it so you had to sacrifice the insignificant in order for certain aspects to succeed. You can only force so much before you lose more and more of what you truely need for a community to run, activity. It's really a recycled path that surrounds the only thing that us Admins really care about here: Activity and the Homestead(PW). Activity will be based off of: 1. Who posts on the forums and what dictates how things will be ran. 2. How the community thinks it should be ran. 3. Finding that happy medium by 13-20+ yr old childish radicals who think they know how to run a community when they're so clan based themselves to even see that there's more than 1 point of view to anything. How to do so we allow only enough to make it seem almost limitless, but also create boundaries that we see as "too much" for everyone here. This makes PW the machine that the clans here use to interpret who they are, not what PW is. PW is just a site, as Jay mentioned. As you may not know, this has been brought up a million times, and it will be given the same answer with it, I don't tell your clan leaders what to do or your fellow members, which are the ones responsible for how they act here. But thats where our rules come in, and thats where your leaders or fellow members don't tell me what to do. But to even clarify it more, PureWarfare is a seperate entity aside from clanning, yes we're a clan based community, but PW isn't a clan itself, or the leaders of the clanning world. We have our own rules here so that every clan can come here under the same roof as the same person in the eyes of the mods and admins. If you break those rules or go against this seperate entity as a person or a force you will be dealt with here accordingly. And with that, please sit down.

If I modded this topic more people would be banned, the mods went easy on you. @Roman I can re-ban you whenever I wish

I might actually start playing the game again now that things will go back to how they were.... well after I'm bored with Skyrim ;)

Thought I would post some AC theme, like I did for the leaders hahahaha. Hello PureWarfare and guests alike. Now I know everyones just expecting a topic to discuss the upcoming RvB event, but today, October 10, 2011, marks a 3rd year to what our community has become, and to how it became. As much as you all like to give Karl, myself, and the other staff the credit for how this community works (basically how we're killing it/helping it thrive) it's really just the mirror image of what the community truely is, we didn't make PW community-wise, you did. PW would not be here without all of you here, and the rules wouldn't be the way they are without the community helping us get to this point. We're aware of what works around here and what deals with everyone, because of what everyone has done to this point. Looking back on it, the aimless threats from clans, members and leaders alike, they were all made by everyone, not just specific people. Everyone has gotten the same taste of how PW works. When you see clans complain about how we're pro-their rival clan, and then see their rival clan say we're pro-their rival clan, that means we're doing our job well. You have created PW, and have helped maintained what you see today. None of the moderators you see here were from the beginning, they've taken the place of what use to be, the ones that helped find how this community works, how the rules will be written. Like I said, blamed for death and life. The staff are the servants to this community, we have always been and always will be, it is done on our own time, no money gained and all non-profit. We love this community and will do what it takes to keep it here for everyone, whether you hate it or not, hate us or love us, you're the reason why we are the way we are, why PW is still here; and we thank you for that. Believe it or not, we actually are humans with feelings and we appreciate everything. September 2009, The Great Pure War, a thought that always ran in my mind back in the earlier stages of the community. I know for a fact that plenty of people in this community for ages wanted multiple clan on clan wars, scaling to something unseen by many. I wanted it to happen, even if it was in the spur of the moment, I wanted it to happen... With the help from a good friend, Bob, we set the stage for what would be the largest pure battle of the year and at the time, ever. Red Vs Blue was made to stop all the hatred and chaos, just for one day. 9 months prior everyone was just doing the same thing, weekend trips, weekday pks here and there, mini wars and preps. Every single god damned week. I made Red Vs Blue for all of you, to just take a break and enjoy the community for what it was and actually fight side by side your fellow rivals just to have a laugh about it. This is just a game, and this community forgets that quite often, and with that treat it like a game.. for one day. I just want everyone to have fun, and enjoy themselves with the ease of coming onto PW and not have to defend their clan for one night and just say "thanks guys, was truely fun and I'm glad I got to fight along side of you." That's all it really means, no need for pointless arguments for "what is pure" that have been going on for years before PW was even created. No need for pointless baits, threats, flame, or any childish words to hurt a fellow clan of the community. Argue with sense, not senseless thoughts but also just enjoy coming on here and not make it a chore, that's how this one day will feel. But I thought it would be interesting just to show the line-ups from the previous years and their eras for those who were not able to attend the past two. So take a look at who use to be there, and who is still here.
