Smart and respectable decision in my opinion. I can see why "pure" clans do not want to be involved in this new system. As for me, I went on the other day and tried it out with Azrael. Me having a little guy with 60 something range and 80 magic at 80(?) combat, whereas azrael is a maxed pure (50 attack) at 103 combat. It seemed like I was able to fend him off with magic 3 out of 10 times, even with such a huge stat gap. Then when he started to use range, he used stun, and I had to either get a lucky hit that built up over time or I didn't have a shot at all. It seems like there is no balance to this system at all(when it comes to pure 1-10 defence... and even to 30*coughnotpure*), which means room for "nerfs". I either see a change in how the special abilities work, and level differences.. Or the only real way to play is by having a huge amount of defense. It seems fun from a main perspective, but from pure.. you really have no shot until they balance out the skills... because from lvl 1 (or 3 idk now) to 103, it's a big mindfuck of what beats what, and usually just one thing conquering all of it (stun).

Everyone needs to chill out and realize new updates will happen in the near future for it. If you don't want to play it, don't. If you wanna try it, then do it. In my opinion, I would love to get my original mains back, and try it with that as well as suggest everyone goes main and wreak havoc on the main community. But I still have to buy hitman absolution, beat AC3, buy the new Skyrim DLC, play my Mass effect series that I never got around to, buy Black Ops 2, get around to beating Borderlands 2, buy/make a new computer tower, buy a new xbox and patiently wait for Farcry 3 and the Last of us.

Something's telling me main clanning will be very interesting and complex, for once. Kinda down. Time to be EoC Warfare

**** I wanted to close... Anyways I wonder if wilderness, defence, and combat levels will still effect anything, since the beta is suppose to be different from the actual thing, or this site's gonna need a new name. Kinda figured no clan would really close right away, that would just be too easy to call it quits. Least I know a clan I could join when I have the time to test this stupid game out. Hopefully, with having combat/combat skills as a front for the game, will entice new and old players to come into the pking aspect of the game.

- Tracking masser clans, and killing them outnumbered by 50 or so with friends from all different "official" clans. Fights would last 30 minutes to an hour which was rare back then. - Making a name for myself for dressing in masser "uniforms?" and killing them from the inside with a few friends, making massive bs-fests and taking the loot. Funny stuff man. - Luring mains to greaters, and killing off idiots at main clan wars. - Crapping myself when I pked my first whip of many. - Advising multiple clans and watching them grow up into wonderful communities. - Meeting omniberret, inidoril, Deamon7(I think it was a 7?). tinytimmy88, king alex, dragonflypk and the men of the raptured in classic and just teaming up on innocent little kids. - Meeting and Picking off "official" clans that were trying to pick off massers with Janson|Old Sunshine in 07. - Helping Z0m become a recognized pure clan after getting bullied on Pc non-stop. (janson was one of the main bullies lul) Which would help me go on to get close to 0wn--Reddies, Eltomo, Tom91, Paws, Muskrat, Thenamesb0nd, and Rain. Which started a new era for me. - Proud to call A, TGG, and PA as my final clans, if it wasn't for those 3 communities, I would probably be a worse ******** now than ever. Sev, Justin, Karl, Jordan, Anthony, and Connor really made me more laid back and helped making my last year or so of "caring" about runescape so much better. - Meeting Cl0se Impact|Ali from Pc, Kosherkid, Da Arrow, and Neil 4 Mercy. - Putting A Goth Chick in his place I have way too many more memories that I do miss, and could keep writing for a long time.

Time for a real discussion topic, and I'm sure this one has been made before. Since I'm never here to make topics anymore and considering the current circumstances of the game and how stupidly horrible every other topic is a dooms day (lol) or list, figured I'd make something the break the combo. So tell me, I'm curious, how did you end up where you are today in this clan community? Who introduced you, or did you discover it yourself? How do you think you are portrayed or have been recognized as in your "clanning" community? What was your favorite moment, most proud of and what do you regret the most? I'm not doing any pre-written copy/paste questions here, so feel free to write whatever you want pertaining to the topic. I need a good read. I'll summarize mine. I've played this game forever and long before most of you. The original clan forums of runescape classic is what got me involved in this type of game play for this game. If it wasn't for that, then I wouldn't have had my interest in clanning and running clan-communities. The deep part about it must be that I enjoyed the concept of controlling a certain "gang" or army, and working together as a family-in-a-way to win and work as a team. It was definitely a control-complex of mine at the time. This game was so basic but so difficult when turned into that "different" style of gameplay known as clanning which made it a whole new game and fun. Just going on hunting trips for little teams, and mains made it that much more intimate. I personally regret being here as long as I have, yes I've been retired for a long time (except for my AI project back in January), but I glad I had the chance to meet the hundreds to maybe thousands of players that I got to play the game with, talk to, and learn about. I'm proud to say i've made generations of friends on this game, from the early classic, to the first time 3d was introduced, to the yearly newbies that came along. I would write more but I have **** to do. It's been a pleasure buds. Edit: I'll never forget leading PC with Tori and Quad, (MM, Foe, Eop, Th, Cp, ect ect kids) on the trip before the wilderness was taken out, where it was 40ish of us vs over 200+ massers. It was just an awesome experience for the community as a whole. I really regret not enforcing less defense on this site, since every clan here needs this site to live except for Mm (which is why I put the ban hammer down , so every clan here was secluded. oops. That and I had to take a stand for the site even though I believed in the same views as a real pure clan. Guess I can't be bias, and made a tough decision based on keeping my promise on a less corrupt site.) I'll edit this crap when I get the time to write it better.
