  4. hahha, prepping main clans matched? you're a retard.
  5. As for most influential, AAO and Epidemic; I haven't played actively in nearly a year in a half-2 years and I still have friends from both clans that I talk to. As for always looked up to, no one anymore. I always respected the old leadership in clans such as 2007 Fi/Eop, Foe when Dave was leading, Mm in their prime, etc. Now adays I don't play enough to really look up to anyone, but when I stopped playing there wasn't really any clan or leaders that I respected a ton.

    Globalization

I'd say globalization and the ideological advancement of liberalism have had the most profound affect on modern day society as we know it. As for the question at hand, I'd personally say it's meaningless. Regardless of the social, political and economic ramifications it may have on humanity as a collective, globalization was bound to happen sooner or later, which is why the question itself is irrelevant. This is my perspective on the world: Humans have developed our values, beliefs and identities through social constructs, IE Religion, education, linguistics, etc. However, at the same time we evolve as a collective race through technology, and this technological advancement is inevitable. We've seen this during even our most primitive evolutionary stages, IE basic scavenging tools, etc. I feel as though globalization is just another step in the evolution of man; it's neither good, nor bad, and depending on how humans handle the situation will ultimately be the variable that determines whether or not globalization works. The benefits, similarly to the possible consequences, are extraordinarily high. I don't know enough about the issue at hand to go in-depth on whether or not I personally believe it will work, but what I do know is that we're never going to be able to "un-globalize" now that we're so interconnected. I guess I'd just have to say that what's done is done, and humanities going to have to find ways to live as an interconnected society alongside these vast economic policies.

    Religion.

half of the *******' i meet who are theist believe in a creator god based off a logical fallacy; just because you don't know where the universe came from doesn't mean it was designed by some omnipotent deity that's never had any basis in fact. also, it's awfully ******* convenient that "EVERYTHING CAN'T COME FROM NOTHING" yet god made everything from nothing. it's great to know god is exempt from the same logic theists generally use against atheists. open your eyes, god is a social construct designed for a plethora of reasons, many which result in negative ramifications. the only 2 reasons people believe in god to begin with is because of the fear of uncertainty and cultural relativity, which results in social and economic control of the masses. why is it, for example, north american's (from a historists account) generally believe in jesus and not allah? it's because north americans have grown up in a westernized society developed through judeo-christian values, however if you grew up in the middle east your whole perspective on life would be completely different. anyone, regardless of intelligence, who believes in a god that's completely immune to empirical inquiry and defies all rational is ignorant as hell. ps - i could care less about what god or religion do for any individual on a personal level. your personal beliefs don't have any sway on objective realities.

    Marijuana

Sorry, I'm having trouble understanding someone as stupid as yourself. Why exactly should an individual not have the right to smoke their lungs out, and why should society have to 'be ready' for something as insignificant as marijuana use? Everyone who's against the legalization of marijuana is ignorant, biased and probably grew up in a white, christian, conservative home where they were told all their lives "IT'S BAD DON'T DO IT!!@#!"

    Marijuana

Thought most of it was a pretty smart response, until I got to the last part. I agree with everything you said, up until you put the emphasis completely on the user. I like to emphasize the user over the drug, but to say "no drug is inherently bad" is ******* retarded. I would like to know your definition of "bad". Our body was meant to breathe air, I can't imagine how inhaling smoke, and burning hot plant matter into our lungs could be "good" for them. Or other hard drugs that make you lose your teeth, and all the other horrible things the chemicals do to your body. Don't even try to say that the drug itself is fine because that is just plain ignorant. It's not ignorant at all, I just don't think you comprehend what I'm trying to say. You can use any hard drug; heroine, meth, crack, molly, etc. and the impact it will have on you almost entirely depends on your relationship with the drug. Sure, smoking crack isn't good for you, but the consequential impact it'll have on your biological structure is almost non-existent if you do it on an irregular basis. I'm not in favor of chronic use of any drugs, which is why the emphasis is on the user. If you believe taking any hard drug once will SERIOUSLY impact your life than you're the ignorant one.

    Homosexuality..

Marriage is a social contract; if you're ok with gays being together then why exactly should they not have the right to get married. Religion - Causing irrational beliefs since the beginning of time.

    Marijuana

Lol, everyone who disagrees with the gateway theory is taking the theory completely out of context. I agree, weed as a drug, in and of itself isn't going to get you into harder substances BUT it does increase the likelihood of being introduced to new substances. As you form relationships with chronic marijuana users new social and environmental possibilities open up which previously would have been non-existent; anyone who actually smokes weed will agree with me. However I still believe (esp. as a libertarian) that this theory is completely irrelevant in terms of legalization. This is just another attempt by neo-conservative pricks to keep marijuana illegal, and at the same time gives stupid teenagers with no self-control justification for their own stupidity. Just another way of shifting the burden of responsibility from the users to the drug. Ultimately, no drug is inherently bad. It's our relationship with the drugs that truly determine the impact they'll play on both a micro and macro scale.
  12. guess u gotta make excuses when u lose tho eh just a bad performance we'll get ya next time blah blah OWNED. Way to show you're the bigger man. Not associated with either clan, nor do I have any emotional baggage attached. Merely stating the hypocrisy in him saying you don't need to make excuses if you win, but it's fine to if you lose.
