  1. You seem to have missed my point entirely. It's not that the list the "higher clans" over the lower ones, because let's face it. the higher clans are the ones which have been there long enough to get to the point where they begin to tighten up the requirements, as opposed to the lower leveled clans which dont' always succeed and are often seen as simply "a group of massers." Nor do I have anything wrong with clans gaining publicity, I see nothing wrong with clans posting topics to show the members of the community how they went on the weekend - Who they fought, what the out comes of those fights were, etc. - No, my main 'disagreement' lies with the basis of the topic itself. I simply don't see the need to judge clans by their weekly performance. It's not hard for any clan to have a good pull one week and then a bad one the next. All it does it make people's opinions of that clan fluctuate. (which, I guess in some ways can be good as it riddles out the inconsistent and allows the consistent clans to establish a 'secure' rank, as seen by the public). For example, and this is in no way desired to be offensive; as I've stated; I don't see the purpose of judging weekly performances as the clans 'rank.' Nor do I see much point in there being systems like the "PCR" system where clans are ranked on the outcome of one war. The reality of it all, and we must all try to remember this, is that there is no single system which is accurate enough to show the true rankings of a clan. At any point in time, their activity may drop, or they may get an influx of members. It's simply too unpredictable. as for the restrictions placed on what lists people are allowed to post, I agree with Scott. there isn't going to be accurate lists based on requirements. There's too many clans with the same requirements to name the top 5 of each. ========================================================================== With a topic like this, from experience, I doubt it would need to be pinned anyway. It's simply my opinion about the topic; in no way do I expect it to be closed - heck, it's healthy for forum activity (yeah, i'm probably a hypocrite). But simply, thank you and I hope people bare in mind that one days performance doesn't mean how well a clan is doing.
  2. I still love my SEGA Megadrive and ATARI. Though, I have an Xbox 360. :) I need to get Orange Box off a friend, though, in the mean time I play Halo 3 mostly.
  3. no.. Old topic - close it? :P

you should name names, so we can all discuss it. :)
  6. good luck on your goal. I really hope you accomplish it.

  8. sorry but did no-one else notice the . It's nice to meet you Sandra, it's a shame you copied your introduction straight from another forum though :P
  9. PW's includes guests, not registered users. It's nothing to go by because a lot of those users could also be considred "guests" who had registered in the past 60 minutes. Sadly, I'm on neither of those lists.
  10. looked good. well done. on a side note, I love 'sandwitches.'
  11. the banner suits the skin well, though I think i'll be sticking to the 'default ipb' one, this one is too dark compared to forums i use regularly. (Also, the skin background is almost the same as Malice's, great job [the diagonal lines] but I presume this could be said about a lot of skins, it's a background!)
  12. Hello. It is nice to meet you.
  13. they're good, though they look too similar in my opinion.
  14. Hoorah, now i get to see all the YouTube nonsense here as well as on the website.
  15. Well done, May I ask.. stats?
  16. You say yes, yet all the votes are for "No". I voted No. On the surface, I agree with Hatton. I've had experience using the IPB 3, and there's still a large amount of content to be added to them before I would recommend an 'upgrade' to it.
  17. looks like a well organised, and thought out, system. Let's just wait and see how it works out.
  18. Congratulations. I remember you telling me about you not having any account :< then I told you I had recently lost mine also. =D
  19. You got unlucky.. The person you killed probably didn't lose enough.
  20. grats. move the [/size] tag to after the sentence ;)
