Why is CW arena still in wilderness?

The Clan Wars Arena is basically a huge barricade in the middle of the wilderness that can only be accessed from a portal in Falador. Unless I am missing something, this seems rather silly. The BH crater is find because you can go through it, but CW literally just sits there. Not really a big deal, it just makes it so that there's only 2 narrow paths that can be taken to gdz (lava gap and the far east side by the water). I think it would be better if there was more space, like how it used to be.

Jagex was too lazy to recode the entire area back to the old wild.

 

Plus it creates the lava gap/channel which hosts some epic p2p fights. I like it this way tbh. And the wild is literally empty as it is, no point asking for more space lol
