What do you feel is harder to work as a clan in?

 

P2P is more about what statistics a clan has; what gear you can afford, what weapons/armor you can use. Because P2P is a broader playing field in comparison to the conventional Rune Scimitar and Maple shortbow. If you can afford a SoL and a half decent inventory you can pretty much survive a reasonable amount of time in a P2P fight.

 

The only way to get better in F2P is through time and experience. Nothing can compare to being in the real situation and getting used to warring in F2P. Although calling and working together is important, a lot of it comes down to how each individual member plays, which is why F2P is much harder to improve in as a clan. It takes time if you've never done it before.

 

 

What do you feel is more important out of the two?

 

It's relative. The importance is pretty much defined by the eye of the beholder (much like beauty). That means, you determine which is more important based on which you enjoy doing more. Just because someone says they enjoy F2P more doesn't mean you would. If we were to substitute beauty in here, some might think a girl is beautiful and other guys might think she isn't beautiful. It's an opinion.

 

Can you do without either one as a clan?

 

Technically speaking, you can. However most clans who do don't really go very far. It's not like 09 where you could get a way with an un-quested 20 defence account. Most people who clan in the present day are used to doing both. Both servers are part of the game whether you like it or not and different people enjoy different servers.

Most clans have weekend trips to fight other clans, not to "Pk". If you went out in P2P on a Saturday you wouldn't encounter any clans which defeats the purpose of your trip.

Thats a toughie. Put it this way, its harder to be good at F2P than it is P2P, individual performances can have more of an impact with P2P.

What do you feel is more important out of the two? Both are important, although I enjoy P2P more. So P2P is more important to me.

 

Can you do without either one as a clan? Yep, some of the greatest clans in RS history were 1 dimensional. (pure & main)

People started taking runescape too seriously. They stopped fighting in the wild everyday due to people crashing and bringing mains and what not. A few clans immaturity got the best of the whole community.

I think that in general, people like p2p more than f2p because of the loot. However, F2P always has and always will be more important in terms of clanning.
