  1. The Pure Community will be alive as long as it's still possible to keep one defence on an account for as long as one wants.
  2. My problem is that you put a space between the comma and its preceding word.
  3. I'm not going to go into too much depth here because it's 2 am and I'm rather tired; but you know where you should be. You know a lot of the people in NME already from Epidemic and you were a great member back in the day. I was almost reluctant to click this topic because I remember you had 20 defence so didn't want to be disappointed, but I'm glad to see you have 1 defence now. If NME is out of the question, I'd honestly say stick with TH and just take a sabbatical for a while. Taking a back seat in the running of a clan really helps to put things into perspective.
  4. Haha epic job. Nice work CP keep it up.
  5. TLP: Total Forum Posts: 900,268 EOP: Total Forum Posts: 459,071 more active then urs o.O You'd have to take into the fact that EoP's Forums have been up for almost two years, in compared to about 4 years of TLP's site being up. then we have: Total Posts: 2218778 Total Members: 21928 Online At Once Record: 1029 (28 March 2011 - 12:10 AM) Blows everything out of the water
  6. Probably because we have one of the most established, respected and renowned leadership teams in the pure community as well as having one of the most experienced core-member base in the community to date.
  7. Building on from the topic made by Sirswat earlier in the week (may have even been last week, I can't remember), I was just wondering if any individuals have had influence over you in regards to clanning or even in regards to life. I know some of the most prominent influencers if you will are going to be the great pkers and clan leaders of old who are renowned for their success; whether it be in pk video's or clan success. Such people as Mahatma, Hiei, Dave, Charles, Jib etc spring to mind initially but I also know that the opinion base in this community is vast and therefore even less well-known people will have influenced people a great deal. I'm not only talking about what clan you chose to join and why or how you built your account, but even real-world preferences such as choice of music or choice of educational course/ career path. I know it can be quite hard to be influenced over the Internet, but speaking from personal experience some of my peers from past clans have directly influenced me on RuneScape and in Real Life. Just could be an interesting topic, don't just limit yourself to RuneScape when discussing. I like to think that the Epidemic leadership of old influenced me to become an excellent English Language student due to the fact that they were constantly writing well thought out and structured essay type topics which were always extremely fun to read. Some of the topics were extremely inspirational and directly influenced my passion for writing. Thoughts?
  8. Completely depends. I come to Pure Warfare generally to look at topics and post my own topics regarding Enemy events, have some nice debates and allow idiots to flame me. When I go to MM forums I get to do all that with people I actually like, have more intellectual discussions in the off-topic forum and even (sometimes) HAVE FUN. It's amazing! But yeah, I only visit either MM/PW forums out of those listed, so I chose MM as my favourite just because it's bigger and has a better range of personalities on there, leading to more enjoyment.
  9. That website suggestion is ******* amazing lol.
  10. No one shut xl's mouth lol...notice how the part about xL lacked some stuff :whistling: Define "stuff". I don't see any pics but you said you destroyed them, no xL in the vid that you said had xL either. And all you said in their paragraph was you "destroyed them", how come it wasn't as descriptive as all the other fights? The video clearly shows a right click depicting hon0r's name followed by 2 minutes of xL running from us. I wasn't even at the trip and I can see that.
  11. No one shut xl's mouth lol...notice how the part about xL lacked some stuff :whistling: Define "stuff".
  12. I'm still a little drunk from last night.
  13. ughhh cleared?? Saturday-Friday- Sunday? What is the difference it's the weekend? Friday's are generally quite unofficial for clans. Yes they go out but in the grand scheme of things they mean very little. The days to focus on have always and will always be Saturday + Sunday. Congratulations on your successful trip xL, looks like you had fun.
  14. Point prooven enemy scared to die, and that means your cleared, hun. No, I'm pretty sure it doesn't. See you tomorrow, hopefully. That is if you don't pull 25 again and hide from us all day ;)
  15. This was my exact chain of thought Get the wordplay? God I'm extraordinary.
  16. Which clan has influenced you the most? As leader or as member or even just a regular member. My whole clanning experience changes from Epidemic v2. Although I enjoyed being in Epidemic v1 more than v2, v2 definitely re-defined clanning on a whole and therefore influenced the whole community forever. Which clan have you looked up to and found them "amazing"? There's only one clan that fits this category and they are the clan that got me into pure clans. I used to spend hours just looking at the amazing pkers on the Mayhem Maker's memberlist, hoping that one day I'd be able to war beside them.
  17. My bad guys, changed it to Revenge I just got told it was R, got confused
  18. After a week filled with wars, controversy, flaming and wheelchairs, NME set off from Edgeville with a mediocre ~43 people. The core of Enemy had turned up to inflict some pain on the pure world and to fill our banks up with lots and lots of delicious loot. The clans we ran into today included: The mighty God-King Hon0r and his followers, CP, WAR, TLP, Z and IR as well as some short appearances from FOE and EoP. Todays Video: Shall be up soon Enemy Vs Final Ownage Elite Although this wasn't a fight per se, I'll include it because it led directly to our first proper fight. FOE rushed us at the top of BH stairs whilst we were awaiting the mighty xL to come deeper than level 10 wild. Not wanting to lose many people to FOE whom outnumbered us quite severely, we rushed down towards xL who were being led by the mighty Hon0r, casting a giant shadow down on Gielnor. Enemy Vs eXceL We had made a huge mistake. It would have been much more favourable for us if we had just turned around and faced FOE like men. Instead, we made the terrible decision to rush towards xL. As soon as we saw Hon0r we knew he was out for revenge. His tight vest was blood-stained and ripped, barely covering his muscular physique. His fists clenched tightly around his bow, his brow covered in the sweat of anticipation. Even his wheelchair had been turbo charged in preparation for this. He was ready. We weren't. We crashed into xL hoping to survive for more than thirty seconds, but alas it wasn't to be. One arrow was all it took, fired from the master's bow. That arrow ripped through our ranks like a knife through butter. The fight was over... xL had won. Or had they? Amidst the cheering and celebration from the warriors of xL, a challenger had appeared... one Hon0r knew all too well. After seeing his brothers and sisters slayed before him, Scott grew tall with anger. He charged towards hon0r at unfathomable speeds, not giving the God-King time to blink before his wheelchair had been tipped over. Hon0r was nothing without his wheelchair, he had once again been defeated by the mighty Scott. Scott turned towards the rest of xL and muttered "Boo" before raising his bow. The army of xL turned and fled, knowing that if they had stayed for a second longer they would have suffered the same fate as their great leader. After all, the wilderness is Scott's playground. Spoiler: We rushed into xL at like level 10 wild and killed everyone high enough to be attacked before we went to the bank Enemy Vs The Last Pures/ Zenith After weeks of being crashed by these clans on Sunday's and most clans in general on Sunday's, we were tired of *****-footing around in our server and decided to sacrifice the "nice guy" approach in favour of action. We heard TLP and Zenith were slugging it out at lava gap so we decided to pay them a little visit. As soon as we smashed into the clans they both retreated north and split up into their respective clans, allowing us to focus on TLP rather than both clans at once. We fought TLP for a while until we got word that EoP were extremely close to the fight, so we decided to pull west towards single. However, after around two mini-maps of movement we heard that EoP had backed off, so we turned around and killed any TLP foolish enough to follow us. We then cleared up the rest of TLP before hopping worlds and heading towards the bank. Enemy Vs eXceL After leaving Hon0r struggling on the floor from the last fight, his clanmates had returned and helped him back into his turbo charged wheelchair just in time for the second round with Enemy. From afar, the mighty Scott fired a blazing arrow towards the legion of xL. This arrow pierced the electronic control panel on Hon0rs wheelchair, causing him to be thrust around in consistent circles. A cry of "CHAAAAAARGE!" was heard from Prateek on TeamSpeak. Obeying the masterful call, the Enemians charged forward with the taste of blood in their mouths and thriving from the scent of fear being emitted from each xL member. The glorious nation of xL was being pushed back towards the brink of existance whilst their mighty leader was unconscious from the sheer amount of loops his faulty wheelchair had done. Excel had been defeated, but what was even worse than that; they had been humiliated. Enemy Vs Intense Redemption We got a scout on IR and decided to pay our old friends a visit. Unfortunately, the visit was quite short-lived due to the fact that they were either eliminated or escaped extremely quickly. Nevertheless, was an enjoyable fight. Enemy Vs We Are Royalty/ Corrupt Pures/ The Last Pures/ Revenge We got word that there was a small cluster going on near north BH stairs so we decided that we wanted in. We rushed in and entered the fight which seemed to be between WaR and CP, pushing the clans into single. We rested at the vents for a while until CP decided to rejoin the fight. As soon as CP re-rushed TLP came from the other side, causing NME to pull North so that all three clans were fighting each other rather than sandwiching us. However, we were low on food and pray as well as being spread all over the battlefield so we decided to call a re-group in single. We then walked north and continued our fight with CP, with them sniping us from single for a short time. We pulled further north and battled it out with CP before Revenge joined the fight. At this point we decided getting out would be a good idea, so we called a regroup and headed down to the bank. Enemy Vs We Are Royalty/ Exiled Force/ Eruption of Pures We logged into a random world at north BH stairs and were astounded to see a huge clusterfuck in progress between quite a few clans. We rushed out and hit WAR, pushing them into single. We then turned our attention to the small amount of EF, pushing them back before EoP rushed in with menacing intentions. Not wanting to lose all of our delicious loot, we booked it to single, logged out and decided to end our trip on a high. A very fun trip despite a mediocre pull for Enemy. Thanks for everyone that turned up and thank you to everyone we fought. Was definitely a good experience. Pics (In no particular order):
  19. My list is going to be based off of Peak vs Peak in F2P 1. MM/Epidemic - Both clans arguably take this spot due to the fact that when they were at their best (120+ pulls) both were untouchable in F2P. I'd also go out on a limb and say both would beat the below clans in matched 100+ fights in the wilderness. 3. FOE - Dominated for years, if not #1/2 then definitely number 3 4. Fatality Pre-2007 were absolutely untouchable, post-2007 not so much 5. EoP - See above, although starting to become a major threat in F2P again. Could see you move up this list in the future 6. CP - Even though they have arguably had the biggest pull of all pure clans, most of them were massed inbreds brought in by the CHAIN69 CC era. Still good in their prime, but that was a long time ago now. 7. TLP - Always been a P2P clan and always will be. Nevertheless dominated F2P for some time. 8. TH - Prior to the MM war they were an absolute powerhouse. Faded and never really recovered after the war.
