As many of you will already know, the official launch of 2006scape is just a matter of weeks away now. The experience rate will be 1x and pures will be useful in single combat once again. I'm making this thread to discuss the migration of the pure community from RuneScape over to 2006scape. If you started playing after 2006 then you should probably stop reading now, your replies complaining about the inconveniences of the server such as how difficult it will be to train can be redirected to battlescape or some other private server. If you did enjoy the game back when there was actually a reason to stay 1 defence, before vengeance/defenders/torsos/turmoil/damage soaking etc., then you will enjoy 2006scape. And I believe if a good couple of hundred pures move to the server along with their respective clans then that will be a strong enough foundation for this type of community to grow on the game. Many people worry about not being able to train because they don't have bots or a lot of money, but neither will anybody else. I enjoyed pure clanning the most in 2006 with Freelancers and Against All Odds when only the odd few people were high levelled and P2P warring was almost identical to F2P because hardly anybody could afford 94 magic. Jagex have been trying to eliminate our kind for a while now, and making life points relative to defence levels will be another blow, and one that we don't have to put up with. I hope many of you do come to play 2006scape instead of quitting. And if you disagree with everything I said because you like turmoil and think the grand exchange and botting is healthy for the game, then I probably don't like you anyway because I ******* hate the herd of battlescape retards who joined our community a few years ago.

This post is about four years out of date. And the clan you are a part of is guilty of all actions you listed. I'll tell you when the real turning point was, it was when we all migrated from Pure Community to Pure Warfare. The clans that do all of this to win fights do it out of their own insecurities and desperation for us all to fear them and rank them in our top 10 lists. So what our little Sefket did, was ban every clan with a member responsible for any of those acts from using Pure Community and ban them from all events such as the R.A.W list. When we moved to Pure Warfare, moderators adopted an attitude of "we can't control what other clans do" and suddenly everything changed. Policing must return to this community if any of this is to stop. Clans care more about how good they look on a clan aftermath topic than enjoying the game itself.

If the original pure community is to migrate anywhere, it would most likely be 2006scape.

I'll give you the best advice you're going to get. Being 30 or 35 defence is about as useful as being 69 defence. Get 40 defence with veng, rune def, rune, b gloves and solo pking will be worth it.

We're a warring community, clans that thrive in the environment that 'His Lordship' is talking about have been dead in this community for a long, long time.

I really hope Sefket makes a forum for 06scape pure clans to post and bans all clans that accept above 10 defence posting. Sefket was the saviour of our community, he will be that again. All the retards in this topic that think pure warring is good now can go to battlescape instead.

20 defence is stupid and cancerous, as fun as ini pures were they were always destroyed by 1 def pures at their combat level. Plus the server has no defenders. Back in the 06 days you'd see nobody wearing mith but the FI leaders and maybe some CP.

Will the modern pure clan leaders take the same mentality of building 'clan' accounts into it? It's pretty obvious with turmoil pures and people having accounts that are 30-39 defence that nobody has cared about combat level for solo pking for a very very long time. And if you suggest that 30 defence turmoil is good in edgeville then you obviously haven't ever pked. Solo pking is something long forgotten in this community, mainly because of how seriously people take clanning and how much personal time it takes up. I just hope that people don't come to the server with their 20-39 defence cancer because of the slight defensive advantage in DEEP wilderness. I'd like to see the old fast-paced pure warring with everybody in monk robes running around hitting each other. Our style of warring is what separates us from the main clans, and now that 1 defence will be good in edgeville again, I would be pleased to see the return of it.

Pure clanning died in 2009. It's not really a pure community any more, hasn't been for a long time. People just like to pretend they are pures.

I'd always known about The Pures from experiencing the rape at gdz, but I never really found the community until somebody commented on my first PK Video asking me to join Divine Hybrids and he gave me the forum link. I went there, found out about Pure Community and the rest is history. I wasn't recruited to my first pure clan until Kse pmed me on zybez to join Insane Pures though.
