Not ignorant if it is against your views on religion and what is marriage. If you start to call people who don't think the same as you ignorant what does that make you? You are free to believe what ever you wish. Even though the US is supposed to separate church and state it doesn't happen. And until the population as a complete whole want to change laws regarding this it will only slowly take over and get passed in several states. I wouldn't call people ignorant for not believing in the same as you, Eric. People are free to believe what they want. I admire you for supporting us gays, but I think the term you should be looking for is 'dissimilar'. It's all good letting Religious people point their view, but when it goes into Homophobic Abuse and Hate, I then have a problem. Personally, I don't think Churches should have a say in marriage, it's a law not a belief. You've got to remember, Priests can turn marriage applicants down. At the end of the day, Love is Love.
