I think he's really onto something that would be fun for the community here and he has put a lot of work into it. What I think should be changed about it is that it should be sponsored by Pure Warfare and be a little more formal.

 

For example, there could be a set list of rules for both F2P and P2P like there is with the PCR. So it would basically be a matched-opts version of the PCR but instead of having a list like the PCR, it would be a list based on Win:Loss ratio.

 

And there could be a forum for it like the "Pure Matched Opts League" or something and clans would post a topic inside there saying that they won a prep. I just think it's going to get really messy for one guy to handle without any structure to it. Clans cheating, different rules for each prep etc. I'd just like to see it become really useful.

clans will just start agreeing to not post the result on pw just to keep getting more preps.

Nah. Read his original post carefully again, he states in there that the list is also to check which clans are more active prep-wise throughout the week. It's not just about the win/loss ratio, it's about the activeness of the clan as well. Just leave things be, if clans are inactive let them be inactive, don't encourage them to do it for a list or then clans will just stop fighting.

Always interesting to track clans progress, and with preps obviously coming around more than pk trips, it would be an accurate way of showing a clans current form.

 

Liked the look of Sams list, but could probably done slightly better with some staff on board. Properly organised, with other stats available, e.g. Largest win margin, Largest pull, average wins over the last 5 preps to measure a clans recent form.

 

Just a few ideas, can't see it taking off unless someone gets off there ass and puts it together. Nice idea though.

I think the only clans that will stop doing preps are the kids who take this game way 2 serious and are afraid of actually losing something that is supposed 2 be about fun. Tlp v H we had a fight in Clw dang 10min cap We won but you can ask almost any H member if they had fun or not.. pretty sure they will tell you they did. Preps are just for fun so the only people who would stop prepping would just hurt themselves cause when someone wants to join a clan that is good in the wild and does alot of preps nd minis why would he join a clan tht only did 2preps that month to keep their 2-0 record when he can join a clan who has like a 10-2 record.

 

idk i just see this working out and the clans who stop prepping would eventually just slump into a closure
