However, it isn't just about whether we have the ability to reach them, but also about their ability to reach us, of which we have no knowledge. Perhaps they are already observing us, perhaps they have been for thousands of years... perhaps they are only waiting for us to grow civilized enough to stop destroying our planet and species to greet us as their equals and share their wealth of knowledge and technology with us.

By your logic, Solo and all EOP members are responsible and deserving of hacking because I'm not saying that you or Solo deserve everything that's coming to you, you are.

I hope you appreciate my lack of sympathy towards EOP members being hacked, seeing as Goop once had my pure in posession and even went as far as to drop members items on an f2p account. Don't pretend that you're a saint, sonny boy.

I can think of 200 people just among my friends who would ask for their defence or prayer to be lowered. Personally I'd ask it for 3 of my own accs. I'd say that the actual estimate would be closer to tens of thousands of requests, once the news catches the wind that is.

I like that idea, but I don't really see how you can favor that but not support this. That would be a great mechanism for putting this into action (barring the potential abuse by people who do quests and then train their defence downwards...), but eh. However they end up configuring it, any sort of way to correct a hacked defence level would be a helpful one. Because this is a single case that they couldn't possibly extend to the whole RS community, which makes it very unfair. Jagex doesn't have the resources to go through thousands of player requests for stats rollbacks. If this is to happen, the only way to do it is with game mechanics.

I don't support this. I would, however, support a way in the game mechanics to train your defence (or other stats) downwards, while keeping it so hard that it wouldn't be worth it at higher stat levels. Instead of begging to get the stats of one account altered, which has certainly been tried millions of times before, you should focus on this, more supportable goal.

1 defence is pure, 40 defence is not pure. Everything else is less than pure. Thus, 30 def is considerably less pure than, say, 10 def, which is less pure than 1 def. I'm going to have to say no.

Also, if I was an SS soldier in Auschwitz such acts of mercy towards the jews could be seen by my superiors as weakness and treason. I'm off to bed, I don't see where you're getting at by presenting this moral dilemma. I think we've already established that the difference in our opinions(or my opinion and the opinion of whichever religious leader forced your opinion) is due to differences in how we define human life and what could be human life. I'll stick to mine until someone presents me with factual arguments against it.
