Cons – In the past senior management was ignorant of the competition and thus lacked vision. Experience in the industry was seriously lacking in Senior management, it's positions being filled by close friends rather than with those possessing necessary skills and experience. Thankfully this is something that is changing, slowly. The original product has remained the golden goose and new IP must be developed for long term success. Any new products are likely to be hobbled by serious engine constraints, lack of imagination and forward thinking in decision making and direction.

Sounds like when Andrew was still running the company and it was at it's highest peak.

Very interesting that there also sacking perm staff and hiring temporary staff; how can that be good for any purpose especially in a games company where you may be working with someone on something then there sacked?

Easier to manipulate to get what they want, and if they don't it's less stress getting rid of a temporary employee. It also removes the strength in numbers as employees and it becomes more of a dictatorship style management (that's how I see it anyway).

True but from what the majority have written it sounds like the senior management is useless haha

Interesting read tbh.

Alot of it is mainly the upper management just lacking the ability to make decisions.

One guy even stated that they are stuck on their 1 success (runescape) and cant even create a new game.

That must be why they are milking Runescape for all they can.

"So count your money, ill count my friends, we will see who's richer in the end."
