an account can be considered pure as long as it does not benefit from defence, so I'd say 1-4 is pure, anything above isn't. And the whole argument that 35-38 def lets you access better bonuses is flawed, because then you might aswell argue that 99 def will allow you to tank longer and thus inflict more damage on the opposing clan, or that 70 def is pure becsaue of the barrows bonuses and whatnot.

Once upon a time, not too long ago when pure warring was fun and the king was FOE The wild was full and pking thrived sadly, to this day none of it has survived Mass botting arrived and ruined the game the comunity went all the way down the drain Little children started playing runescape And all of a sudden there was nowhere to escape! Where ever you turn "u mad bro?" and so the game was ruined just like so As time went by, playing became a chore And soon enough my clan was the only reason I logged in for And then came the big bot-bust Great work Jagex, finally doing something, it's that just By this time I had outgrown the game However I'd still prudly put [-]; [M] and [TH] next to my name.

It's funny how this topic pops up right after EOP had a boring friday. You could've just written "Hey guys, MM doesn't wanna fight, so we need fights to crash on fridays" and avoid this masquerade. Anyway, I always liked PCL + most clan wars related events because they some structure to pure fights, unlike in the wilderness where you expect to get crashed even before you start getting a fight. It's funny how when I was in Negative or Malice we always had some small fight that ended up being crashed by a big clan. I mean it jsut takes the fun out of the wildy if you can't have a 20v20 without all the addy monsters rolling in.

Was great fun, just sad that I had to leave so early :/ IF you are interested ot have LEP in more events of the sort, you will need to organize them with HaX, because I have retired from RuneScape. It's great to see that all of the country clans can organize such a grand event and I hope this will only ameliorate inter-clan relationships, especially between TF and LTU :)

I wish we [LEP] could pull enough to compete vs you guys, but meh, maybe you'll give us some p2p miniwars every now and then. I'll stay neutral on this, seeing as both clans have the potential to take the win.

There are always at least 2 Lithuanian clans around... If you guys learned to get over your differences, you could seriously stir the clan scene, till then I can't say I expect you to achieve anything beyond what you've already achieved. Nonetheless, Good luck :)

Everyone seems to believe that the community is worsening purely due to defence and crashing, but the thing is, those two aren't the reasons why the activity is declining. If anything those two boost it. IMO, the reason why the community is dying is botting. Ever since botting became widespread and easily accessible to everyone, people don't care for the game anymore. People just leave their acocunts training and show up to a single event on a saturday or sunday and then believe that their botting is a way of being "active". Back in the day when not that many people botted, the people who came looking for communities and wanted to participate in clans where the people who enjoyed RuneScape, who couldn't get enough. Nowadays with Runescape itself being ****** up, the gloomy atmosphere of the pure community and the immense increase in botting, the result is rather unsurprising. As someone mentioned above, a guy joined a clan and had no fun there simply because everyone botted. It's these kind of people who come and complain and look towards a brighter community where people actually are online and train together and help each other in order to make the game more fun. What I'm trying to say is if botting suddenly became impossible, I'd guesstimate some 30% old school people quit, however the increase in new recruits who'd be actually enthusiastic about the game would be huge. And none of the "Remove addy" campaigns will ever have a big enough effect to restore the community to it's former glory. Then again, that's all just my opinion...

Well, Runescape is pretty much dying itself and along with it - the communities. There are too many factors playing against pures for the community to start growing again. One of which, that probably is caused by a lot of the people who moan about lack of pures, is the trainning and the money. Nowadays all of you bot up some monster maxed pures, transfer money from your mains and then sit in the wildy all maxed out with insane gear and wonder why no1 wants to fight you and start crying about it. The other pures get sick of dying to some sw prods and start rushing simply cuz they can't afford anything else. Then all of these bigass pures go clanning, sit on forums and bch about it not being like the old days. I'm not speaking about any1 specifically, but that's the general gist of what I believe.

Tbh every pure clan combined couldn't take down a main clan like RSD, VR, EoS, TT, or DF. Any one of those main clans alone would slam pures. Pures don't bring mage to F2P so one of those maxed mains could easily tank like 150 of us while the others are dropping like flies. Lets try
