The death of the wildy should have been the bigger blow. We didn't have any way of fighting other clans for quite some time and it destroyed something that was so integral to the game I thought people were screwing with me when they told me the update. The pure community just gave up with EoC and too many didn't make a legitimate effort to make it through. I can't speak for all, but I know the majority of MM gave up before they even had an idea of what they were doing. People who didn't even play the beta constantly complaining about things they have no idea about, and even after release, too few even tried to pk. I can understand quitting if you don't like it, but the fact is most people acted like sheep and bandwagon quit before they had even the slightest idea of what they were doing. It takes maybe a day or two to know what you're doing, it is not a huge time investment to "relearn the game." This is overall disappointing to me. We make it past the end times of pking, yet we let EoC stop us. I just don't get it.

Shame I wasn't there. I don't know why you hypocrites cling to your def. The bonuses do not outweigh the combat levels, it is only beneficial in clan v clan setting where you can push the limit beyond the point of justification because you know you have to answer to nobody. It's a pity, but it only made MM's success over you all the better.

MM is going to be in an interesting position. Speshls, myself and a few others remain to bring the clan into EoC, but the forums and the entire way MM is structured will be a lot different. We will give it a serious go for one month as soon as the dust settles, but the fact that the entire pure community is so fractured and divided is not going to help anyone; while it once could have saved us in a situation like this, it is likely to make things a lot worse. There's still hope, I'll put everything into MM, but I don't know what will happen in a months time.

The killing power is only from assault, it's not a big deal. Your biggest damage dealer is the range. Also, 2 xbows outdamage a zaryte bow meaning I can do more, with much much less risk and protect a godsword/maul over dual xbows.

This is the reason you lost. You guys clumped up every single round and I had no problems finding 3+ man piles because no matter where I looked there was one to barrage. Lack of experience and probably poor calling was the reason why you guys lost, not because someone took some bad inventory.

Are you kidding me? We have passwords, can login by email and bank pins. It certainly isn't Jagex's job to make it anymore difficult for hackers because the next step would be an authenticator. And something is not "very hard to prove" if the person commiting the action admits to doing so in a friggen video. Not your responsibility to enforce this kind of stuff, but you are running a community site. If you want people that hack/ddos posting and "contributing" to the site then go ahead. You're missing the point and twisting everything, should have known you'd write some crap on this topic, but hey **. Jagex's system is rubbish, it's so easy to recover accounts now because it's so easy to gather information on people, check my topic in announcements about it. An authenticator could work, or they could take some ideas from Facebook, such as text confirmations, it's simple and very very effective. When I said it's hard to prove, I was mainly referring to DDoSing, yes you can track the IP's, but no one uses their own computer to DDoS they use servers and hide behind a VPN. So yes, it is VERY hard to prove. I don't want people who hack or DDoS to be a part of PW but it's hard to prove if someone is DDoSing so there isn't much we can do against the person who committed the crime. Hacking, yes it can be proved a bit easier than DDoSing, but if the person isn't an idiot it can be quite difficult. You all think hacking and DDoSing is something new when it's gone on since the game began, it's only in the last few years that it happens on a larger scale, also, it's even worse than this in the main communities. If you don't want them to be a part of the community, do something about it instead of saying it. The video I saw about Addy Daddy was uploaded on a youtube account called "pooraddydaddy" so that isn't proof. Yes EoP leaders were there, but there was no proof as to who was actually on the account. So there's doubt as to who was on it, therefore action can't be taken. So you still want those EOP who were encouraging them and participating in the hack (maybe not directly logging on) but being there is the same thing pretty much. In my opinion, those type of people aren't worth keeping around, those involved in hacking to any degree, but I can understand if you don't want to ban those. There was a video of 101 (who I flamed and was warned) where he posted on his youtube openly admitting to hacking one of MM's apps. If you haven't seen it, there are probably another 200 or so that can testify to its existance, seeing as the video was made private. Wouldn't that be considered enough proof and warrant a ban? I just don't understand the stance you take where you say we don't want these people, but in the face of undeniable evidence, you allow them to remain.

God, those mains on Zybez are so stupid it is sickening. They look down on the pure world for what reason? Do they not see what they do in wars is equally as stupid and requires just as little skills as do ours? RS pvp isn't even on the same level as a real MMO's pvp is, such as WoW. Do I go posting on unrelated topics about how very few, if any of them could achieve a 2.6k rating in arenas, or any other game that requires skill for that matter? No because it's not relevent to the topic in discussion. They're delusional if they believe their form of warring takes more skill than ours. At least in our wars you need to react faster or die because we don't have def and rune to fall back on.
