Promotions

 

As Pure Warfare's activity and user base continues to grow, the staff is continuing to do it's best to keep up with the rapid expansion of our community. As our daily post counts are continuing to rise, we must appoint more worthy staff members to help us battle against the stupidity which continues to attempt to taint our community. These staff members will include Senior Members, Honored Members, and even Moderators. These three ranks will increased by a total of eleven members who have shown us that they are capable of maintaining the integrity of this community.

 

With our new addition of staff members will come a new policy of moderation. Lately, our forgiving nature has been taken advantage of, and many members have run rampant, and their behavior has gone unpunished. As staff, we'd like to apologize for this. Our moderation will now get tougher and we will have a zero toleration policy for any rule breaking, no matter who you are. Over the past few years, we've been giving too many chances to repeat offenders. This will no longer be the case. Warnings and suspensions will be given as fit, no matter the rank. Clan Leaders will be held to a higher standard of ethics, and will find that their rank will be more prestigious as it becomes more difficult to maintain.

Congratulations to those who have been rewarded for what they've given to this community. We hope this is proof that as admins, we do notice the good deeds of our members, and we do appreciate what you do.

 

 

Clan Leaders

 

Lately, our system of appointing and managing the Clan Leaders has been sloppy. Our applications have become very backed up, and many clans exceeded the limit of four leaders, and many ranked leaders no longer actually lead a clan. To clean this up, a new system is in place. The Clan Leader Applications have been removed. Existing clan leaders will find an explanatory topic in the Clan Leader forum, and those of you who still seek the rank can speak to a clan leader from your clan, or if none exist, have your clan owner PM myself.

 

"Hack" Recap

 

We'd like to take a minute to remind all of you that you should change your passwords and IPs to ensure your account security as a result of the compromisation of a staff member's account. We assure you that something of that nature will not occur again. However, we have strong suspicion that crucial information was recorded. To secure your account(s), it's best to change any passwords to emails and other accounts which may have shared a password with your PureWarfare account. This does include your PW Account password.
